chapter 7: Caught

Jakalya pov

I woke up to see Daquan sleep right next to me we must of feel asleep during the movie.I looked at my phone and it was 10:00. I got up got some clothes out my dresser and went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth washed my face then took a 30 min shower. After I got out I put on my shorts and my shirt.

I came out and put my clothes in the dirty clothes and went to check on my daughter she was still sleep as well.

I went downstairs and cut the TV on when I heard footsteps coming down the stairs I turned and looked to see it was Daquan.

"Good morning" he said with a smile

" good morning" I said back I got up to go get a tooth brush a towel and a rag for him

" here you go if u wanna freshen up" I said handing him the stuff

" thanks " he said walking off toward my room ta the shower

I went up to kiya room to wake her up cause I wanted to go to break fast .

" baby wake up" I said shaking her a little she smiled then acted like she went back to sleep a laughed a Lil

" you not gonna wake up for mommy OK" I got up the came back and started tickling her and she busted out laughing
" OK mommy I up I up" I picked her up and gave her a kiss I took her to the extra bathroom grabbed some clothes and gave her a bath. I made sure she brushed her teeth and washed her face

" open your mouth" she did as told

" now smile"

" there OK mommy"

" yes baby" I said smiling
I grabbed her clothes and helped her get dress she had on a peach dress and some white flats with a lil peach rose on it. I put her hair up in a pony tail and she was ready

She ran downstairs and went to the couch. I made my way up stairs up to my room and started to put on some clothes while quan was in the shower. I took off my shorts and shirt went to my closet and pulled out my peach ish brown strapless dress. I put on a pair of white heels and was ready. I put on a little bit of makeup and did my hair.

Once I was done getting ready quan came out the bath room with steam following. I got up and walked out the room so he could get his clothes on

Few mins later he came out with his clothes on.

" were going out to get some breakfast would you like to join us"

" yea that'a coo " I got up got all my things together and got kiya things together locked up the house and we drove in my car I strapped my baby in and got in the front driver seat.

We where on our way to Riccobono's one of the restaurant my mama use to take me when I was younger its been up for a while and I really like there pancakes and coffee.

The car ride was quite except for kiya mumblings to songs on the radio. It took me only about 15 mins to get there. I parked my car and we all got out the car and made our way inside.

August pov

I was at Riccobono's fa some breakfast Jakalya hooked me on ta thus place they had some bomb ass food hea. I was waiting at a tabel fa my food ta come when I saw this bad ass girl walk in she looked just like Jakalya with a Lil shawty with her. As I looked closer it was hu I was bout ta walk up ta ha when I saw she had a nigxa with her.

I wonda is this why she always to busy fa me. I just kept lookin I couldn't keep my eyes from over where she'a was sittin it kinda made me a Lil mad that she was with somebody.

The lady bought me my food and I dug rite in. I pulled out my phone and texted hu

Me: wassup wit ya 11:30am

I looked over ta hu and she looked down at her phone and put it back down.she got up and went ta the restaroom
Few mins late I got a message from hu

Jakalya: I'll text ya later I'm busy sorry 11:34

Me: don't even worry bout txtin me bck mayne 11:35

I saw hu walk out the bath room looked like she had a Lil attitude on hu face

I was done with my food I called the lady fa a tago box and the check

I bagged my stuff payed and was out on the way out I had ta walk by her tabel ta get to the door I saw her look up at me but I ain't look at her while I was walking out the door.

I got in my car and headed on home. At lease now iknow the meaning of "busy" when she tell me she busy

I pulled up ta my house parked nd got out. I kinda was in my feeling at this moment cause mayne I really liked hu and I been wantin ta tell hu fa the longest but I never had or found the rite moment ta tell hu but who care na she go somebody no need ta tell here na rite.

I pulled out a blunt ta relax my self I was finna get on cloud 9. I poured my self a cup of Hennessey. I can admit I'm a Lil jealous.

Jakalya pov

I had got this txtin message from August but yet again I told him I was busy and I would txtin him back but he told me not to even worry bout txtin him. Then I see this tall figure walk past my table out the door and who was it August he looked pretty pissed. I watched him as he walked out the door.

Gosh have I just lost a friend a good one at that. I finished my food I got kiya a Togo box and quan ate his . we paid and I headed on home he left and kiya went and watched TV I got in my bed and pulled out my phone to text August
