Chpt 2: The Arrival, Part Two

At House

Logan's P.O.V

Johnson unlocks the door and we make our way in. Surprisingly it's neat and tidy. I put my things down next to the door and Johnson shows me to the room I will be staying in and then gives me a small tour of the house. During the tour I couldn't help but notice a piano in the corner. Johnson being Johnson realized this and towards the end told me I could play it if I wanted to and I did. I started to play "Good For You", by Selena Gomez.

As I'm playing I noticed him snap chating me so I can't help but stop and start laughing. He starts to tease me and take pictures of me off guard, so I grab his phone and start recording as i'm running away. I run into the bathroom and lock the door. I start recording snapchats on his phone and posting them to his story. You can hear him in the background knocking on the door.

"Logan! Logan! Come on let me in."

"Guys it's been about twenty minutes since I've stolen Johnson's phone and locked myself in the bathroom. I think the coast is clear." I say in the snapchat video.

I post it then quietly unlock the door and exit the bathroom.

"I don't see Johnson anywhere." I say while recording another one. As I'm posting the last video Johnson in the front of me and someone behind me comes at me full speed and squishes me turning me into the middle of a sandwich. Since I don't know whose behind me I wrap my arms around Johnson's neck and hold on.

"Wow. I haven't see you in forever and I don't even get a hug!? That's cold Lo!"

There's only one other person who calls me Lo besides Johnson.

"Jack! I missed you bud!", I say while letting go of Johnson turning around and giving Jack a bear hug.

He spins me and then says,

"I missed you to Lo!"

We separate when we hear someone clearing their throat. It's a girl who looks a little bit younger then me. I've seen her somewhere but for some reason I can't pin point who she is. I don't have to think long because Jack clears his throat and explains.

"This is my girlfriend Madison. Madison Beer."

She waves and smiles at me.

"Wait girlfriend?", I say not sure if what I'm thinking is showing on my face.

"Yeah. Girlfriend.", She says with a little bit of attitude.

With the way she responded I knew it showed in my face and from the amused look on Johnson's face and the guilt look jack was giving I had to do something quick. I thought of something to say so I could get myself out of this situation.

"Oh no! I didn't mean it like that. I was just thinking how it makes more sense now, this place is pretty clean and tidy and I know that it wasn't Jack or Johnson. Oh and I'm Logan. It's nice to meet you.", I say with the best and most genuine smile I could give.

She smiles back and says,"I know. I love the way you dress!"

"Thanks!"

The truth is I wasn't okay with Jack having a girlfriend back in Omaha, Nebraska, Jack and I never officially dated but we were a thing. I liked what we had. And the last week before he left and moved to Los Angeles we were the closest we had even been.

Flashback

I woke to an arm wrapped tight around my waist. I almost panicked but then I remembered last. Jack and I goofed around all night and watched scary movies. We even made out. It was a night I would never forget we were so close, I never wanted it to end but Jack was leaving today and I couldn't do anything about that. As I stared at him and admired his features his eyes opened.

"It's kinda creepy to stare."

"Whatever bud.", I laughed and he pulled me on top of him.

"Your so amazingly beautiful. I love you.", he said it so naturally. It took him a minute to realize what he said. He started to blush and even looked worried, but before he could say anything I said the four words.

"I love you too"

And I mean't it. Before I dropped him and Johnson at the airport, Jack and I acted like an actual couple and made out the whole morning. It was nice. But the moment he left I knew I couldn't hold him to those three words.

I pushed away the old memory and focused my attention back to Jack, Madison and Johnson. It was sort of an awkward silence, I was relieved when Johnson spoke.

"Jack and I have a surprise for you Lo!"

"No way?! Yeah? What is it?"

"I'm not telling you anything, just wear a cute bathing suit."

Johnson smirks and walks away.
