Damnit where the hell were my house keys? Moving back to the car I searched everywhere, finally opening the glove box I heard the tinkle of metal on metal. Reaching in my fingers collided with ice cold steel. Ha success! Snatching the keys I made my way back to the house, sliding the key into place, twisting and stepping through the doorway. A sigh left my lips at the soft vanilla fragrance in my house, it had always been a comforting smell to me., reminding me of my mum.

Shutting the door I pulled off my leather jacket as I made my way towards the kitchen. Rummaging through the freezer I pulled out an ice pack and a tray of ice. Turning back to the counter I placed them there before grabbing a tumbler and a bottle of whiskey. Dropping some ice into the glass I poured whiskey over it, taking a quick swig from the bottle before tucking it under my right arm. Picking up the glass in my right and the ice pack in my left I began to make my way to the lounge.

I needed to submerge myself in the sarcastic comments, love of pie and the sexiness of Jensen Ackles. Holding the ice pack in my hand I closed my eyes as the cold soothed the burning of my face. Shit, that slap had hurt. Dropping onto the couch I landed on something highly uncomfortable and that's when the feeling of déjà Vu hit me. Wriggling around I felt what felt like bones. Yeah definitely a person. I still hadn't opened my eyes, not willing to come to terms with what this meant.

"Would you kindly refrain from doing that?" Caiden asked politely.

Sighing I opened my eyes slowly as I sat up, taking in my surroundings. Caiden was sitting behind me while Caleb was smirking on my brand new couch. I'd finally replaced the one that was coated in Kael's blood.

Kael.

My eyes went wide at the realization. The Ghosts were in my house, which meant Kael was here. With that a smile broke across my face.

"Ah... can you also refrain from smiling like that? You look demented, possibly even possessed..." Caleb says quietly his gaze wary as he watched me.

Snorting I sat down again, next to Caiden this time before taking a long drink of my whiskey. The fire burning down my throat diverted my attention from the burning pain in my cheek.

"What the hell is wrong with her? She calls screaming God knows what at me and then she isn't even here!" Alexander yells at no one in particular as he walks in the room, a highly distressed look on his face...

"Look it's a-"

"I swear to god when I see her, I'm going to kill her!" He continues despite my effort to inform him of my presence.

"Ale-" he cuts me off again.

"But when Kael gets her hands on her. Oh. Oh. Oh. All hell is going to break loose." He states striding in front of the couch I'm sitting on.

Already irritated with his complete ignorance towards my presence I stick out my leg, catching his foot and causing him to tumble to the carpeted floor with a loud "oof!"

"What The Fu-"

"Hello to you too Alexander." I glare down at him.

His face goes from pissed to embarrassed to happy to pissed again. "You!" He shouts pointing a finger at me.

Raising an eyebrow I watch him over the rim of my glass as I take a sip of the amber liquid... Instead of doing anything he just lays on the floor staring at me. Retard much? Sighing I stand up and make my way to the basement. Knowing Kael he'll be there, and the fact that River and Cole weren't here it meant they were with them.

Slowly making my way down the stairs I'm careful to not make a sound. Stopping at the second last step I lean against the banister and watched the three of them train. Kael was slamming his fists into the punching bag, all his weight thrown behind each jab. I watched the way his muscled pulled and contracted, relaxed, pulsed. The way he moved. In all he had a fierce grace, he was beautiful. A contradiction all in himself.
