Chapter 13

Dark called off the army and luckily there were no casualties. They has barely entered a small village outside of Gerudo Valley when Shadow intervened.

You and Link were at your home waiting for him to return. In that time you thought about how you were going to tell the truth to Grandma Josephine, Alexander, and Marie. They had seem you both covered in blood and dirt but asked for a minute to talk amongst yourselves. "Just don't hold anything back," Link suggested while laying on your bed, his wounds were still slightly throbbing. You let out a prolonged sigh, "I guess you're right," you say and stand up from the edge of your bed.

"Hey," you turn and look at your friend, "remember that it's your happiness." You smile at him and take a deep breath before heading out into the hall. "Sorry again for the suddenness of it all," you hear a familiar male voice say from the living room and and quicken your pace. "(Y/n)," Grandma Josephine says and beams at you once she sees you in the door frame, "this young man was just telling us what really happened since your disappearance."

"I wouldn't call him young...," you hear Alexander sneer under his breath, which was responded by a slap on the side by Marie. You give Dark a questioning look and he simply smiles warmly. "As long as you are happy," Grandma continues, slightly directed to Alexander, and stands, "we will support you in any decision." Josephine places a hand on your cheek before pulling you I to a hug.

"I want to live in Dark's castle," you say a moment after the embrace ends. The elderly woman laugh happily and kisses your forehead. "Be back every week to visit?," you hear Marie ask as she walks over to you. "You know it," you say brightly and wrap her in a warm hug. Alexander wraps an arm around you let go of Marie, "Come on sweet pea. I'll help you pack."

~Time skip to Dark Link's castle~

"What do you mean you haven't been treated?!," you exclaim at Dark as he lays on his plush red sheets. "I already told you that I wanted you to do it. By the way, where's my victory kiss?," he asks with with a wink. You roll your eyes and smile leaning down only to fake him out and flick his nose. "No kisses for you because you've been walking around with open woulds!," you yell some more, furious. He sighs and looks away dramatically.

"I'll go get the supplies to clean you up," you says as you head over to the bathroom, "when I get back you better be stripped." "Mmm, yes ma'am." You roll your eyes again and close the door.

When you open it again you see Dark sitting on the edge of the bed shirtless, with his lower half under the first layer of covers. You automatically blush, "You better be wearing some kind of undergarments under that blanket." He smirks at you and folds his arms behind his head. You blush even harder and look around the room, have a hard time finding something to say. The you hear a chuckle and look back at him; he swipes off the blanket, revealing his white, mid-thigh undergarments.

"Y-you pervert," you say looking down at the ground, completely embarrassed that you though he was nude. "I could NOT pass up the opportunity," he laughs out, you ignore your rapidly beating heart and start to set up the medical equipment. "For ghat, I won't be gentle," you hiss, slightly pissed, just to be replied by Shadow clicking his tongue twice.

After an hour, you finish patching up Dark and he's fighting off sleep. You giggle at his face as he nods off and wakes back up abruptly. "Scootch over," you say slipping under the covers. On reflex, Dark wraps an arm around your waist and pulls you closer. "I'm glad you're here with me, my princess," he says half asleep. "Me too," you say with another giggle. "Stay with me forever?," he asks while snuggling his face in your hair. "Always and forever," you say running his arm. "I love you," he whispers in your ear before sleep completely takes over him.
