[Ciel's P.O.V]

"Ciel! We're back!" My mother giggled. My father following, carrying multiple bags. I pretended to be asleep, breathing calmly. Sebastian hid under the bed.

"Dear, he's asleep." I heard my father whisper. Suddenly someone was knocking on the door. My father opened it. "Hello, sir. We got a noise complaint from next door. Apparently someone was screaming." A man said. "Oh, my son was probably playing a game. You know how boys are with their games." My father chuckled.

"Yes, I suppose so. Well, please tell your son to be quieter next time." The man said and left. I heard my mom sigh.

"Boys are always so loud."

[Sebastian's P.O.V]

A week later...

"Ooo! How about this one!" Alexis tapped the glass. "Oh no, no, no. It's way too plain." My mom said. "I'm pretty sure he would like any of them." I said.

Today is Ciel's birthday, so, I want to propose to him.

I decided to take my mom and sister out to shop for an engagement ring for Ciel. I don't know much about rings. So, I asked them.

Alexis scoffed. "You really think that Ciel would be fine with just a simple white band with a diamond on top? You really are stupid." She said. "No I'm not." I mumbled.

"Oh! What about this one?" My mom pointed at a ring. It honestly looked beautiful. It had a sterling sliver band with a rather large diamond on top, surrounded by much smaller yet beautiful diamonds. I smiled.

"It's perfect."

[Ciel's P.O.V]

"I didn't know we fucking live in Antarctica!" I yelled, trying to keep myself warm while walking through the park to my house. "My balls are fucking frozen." I mumbled.

I could barely keep warm because I was carrying big ass bags.

"Yeah Ciel. It was a fucking amazing idea to go Christmas shopping when it's fucking 20 degrees! I'm just a fucking genius!" I yelled.

I want to go home and watch anime! Hell, I wish I was an anime character. They never look hot or cold! They also go on adventures and shit. They kill some big ass Titans too. Or make a contract with a demon like that one boy who looks an awful lot like me.

Demon........demon....oh! Sebastian my love! My sexy beast! You would keep me warm with your demon powers.

I suddenly got reminded of what I bought today. It was nothing really, just got some clothes for my mom, a watch for my dad since I broke his old one. Sexy red lingerie that I bought for myself, so that I can surprise Sebastian tonight after he takes me out to dinner for my birthday.

You know, the usual stuff.

He seems so excited today for some odd reason. I mean, it's just my birthday. It's not like he's going to propose to me or anything.

I stopped at that last thought.

Would he? No! Ciel, quit it! What a stupid thought!

I saw a firetruck heading towards my house. Then another one.

Weird...

A feeling suddenly struck me. My eyes widened as I dash to my house.

Once I got there, my heart dropped. My house...was on fire. "Mother! Father!" I yelled, running towards the burning house. One of the firefighters stopped me and pulled me back. "Mother! Father! No!" I screamed. Tears going down my face.

"No! No! No! Please! No! Mommy!!! Daddy!!! No! No!" I shoved the firefighter away and ran inside the house. I ran to the family room and swung the door open. My parents laid there, dead with fire burning their bodies. I dropped to my knees and sobbed in my hands. "Please! Let this be a dream! Please! Someone wake me up!" I sobbed.

Suddenly I felt a napkin on my mouth, then everything...

Went black.
