past days have been difficult knowing I not going to be close to Michael everyday is a lot to take in and I know I shouldn't be like this because Michael must have it way worse, leaving home going away from what you've known for a while it's hard
"hey are you Luke" I turn to see this girl sitting done at my lunch table
"um yeah, why are you asking" I ask her, it's been more likely of girls coming up to me after being noticed
"well I hear Michael is going to college and it's back in his home town in Australia so your here alone for a while and you know when you do a long distance relationship you can get away with a lot of things you can't usually, so I'm amber and here's my number so call anytime" Amber said as she left the piece of paper with her number in it

I told Michael I was busy but I can't get what Amber said out my mind what if Michael cheats on me I know I shouldn't be like this but, Michael could find someone better in college there are many more people in college and I still have a year until I go to college if I go to college, fuck everything is so confusing at this moment I never thought life would be so difficult
"luke, I wanted to say goodbye before I leave" I turn back to see Michael
"what do you mean, are you leaving now" NO this can't be happening he's not leaving, he had for what I seemed a couple more days
"yeah, I'm leaving um there was a change of plans and I have to leave early" you could tell he was trying so hard not to cry
I gave him a hug, god I let my worries ruin our time together before he leaves and now he's leaving
