two days and both the Clifford's and Hemmings are both ready to start the road trip, and even though it's just begun it's already off to a bad start with Michael making hateful comments on everything to Luke trying and not succeeding to talk to Michael who made no effort at all to acknowledge his existence
"okay boys to start this journey off we will be heading upwards to Washington and we will be camping in the woods, so use your phones while you can" Karen tried but failed to lighten the mood only to have michael shot glares towards
but soon enough after a long time of silence karen leaves the two boys by themselves ( only michael and lUke plus the parents will be on the trip)
"Michael look we'll be near each other for the whole summer, so can we please at least be on talking terms, I can't stand you not talking to me" Luke said to him
"well you should've thought of that before watching and staring as they took me" Michael instantly shot back to luke
"michael look I'm sorry, I was just in a state of shock if I knew what was happening I would do something I promise you that" Luke replied
and they went back and forth yelling at each other one with pleading for forgiveness and the other with hatred in his voice
"BOTH OF YOU STOP IT" Andrew howled instantly shutting up both boys
"YEAH, THIS IS A FAMILY TRIP AND WE DON'T WANT TO HEAR YOU BICKERING THROUGHOUT THIS WHOLE TIME IN HERE, SO YOU BETTER STOP BICKERING BEFORE WE BOTH MAKE IT A LIVING HELL FOR BOTH OF YOU THIS WHOLE SUMMER" Daryl joined in
"Mikey I'm sorry, but please don't just ignore me. I don't care what you say to me just talk to me" Luke said as both of their dads were standing there, waiting for them to fix what was wrong
"fine" was all Michael said but it was enough to make Andrew and Daryl leave to the front of the bus
"but this doesn't mean we are friends, all I'm doing is talking to you" Michael added on
but it really didn't matter to Luke, he was just happy that Michael agreed to talk to him instead of ignoring him this whole trip

"okay boys we are here, let's talk about sleeping arrangements okay" Liz spoke to both of the boys
"okay so who's gonna sleep where' luke asked
"well we have a cabin and everything, so you two boys get the room all the way at the back of the stairs and me and Andrew get the room to your left as Karen and Daryl get the room to your right" Liz explained
It was hard for Michael not to roll his eyes and make a comment about it but he did try his best not to look unamused, Of course Michael did not like be this way he always hating being horrible to people but he also didn't want to forgive Luke to easily, Luke had to learn that what had happening and what he did is awful

"hey have you seen Michael" Luke asked to his parents then to Michael's parents only to get the response of by the lake, so that's where he went ( don't know much about washington so sorry if I'm wrong about things

"hey Michael" lUke said to get the attention of michael
"what are you following me now" Michael coldly said
"wow thought we were past the hateful comments" Luke added as he sat down next to michael on the cold snowy ground

"well I wanted to come and talk to you of course. what were you just singing" Luke said obviously trying to start a conversation
"nothing just something i just came up with just now" Michael replied
"oh okay, well on another note I want to know how can you stand being in this kind of cold weather, Im literally frezzing my but off" Luke said as michael gigled
"well as yo can see, I'm paler than snow white, I'm not one for heat and the sun so over time I kinda adjusted to the cold in a way" Michael said as he had a slight smile on his face
"you know I'm sorry" Luke said, as Michael smile dropped which caused Luke to frown
"please just drop it and go, i don't want to talk anymore" Michael said to Luke
"no Michael I want you to know I'm so sorry" Luke replied
"OKAY LUKE i GET IT THAT YOU'RE SORRY BUT HOW DO YOU THINK I FEEL, EVERY TIME YOU SAY YOU'RE SORRY I'M REMINDED OF WHAT HAPPENED THAT NIGHT, NOT ONLY THAT NIGHT BUT EVERY SINGLE MOMENT I HAVE EVER BEEN THROUGH WITH THAT HORRIBLE MAN, DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT HE DID TO ME. i DON'T WANT TO BE REMINDED OF IT EVERY TIME... every thought is a battle, every breath is a war.... and I don't think I'm winning anymore" Michael had tears streaming down his face by the end of the moment
"i can't take it anymore Lukey...It's too much bad memories" Michael finished
Lukey had tears forming and the thing he did next was the first thing he thought of doing, He kissed him
"I'm gonna be here for you, no matter what, I promise I'll do anything to keep you happy, I'll be here for you. I really like you Michael and even though I might have just stood there as he did that but I swear next time I see him, I will beat the fucking crap at of him okay" Luke said and kissed michael again but at least this time Michael kissed back
"the view is beautiful" Luke changed the subjected
"yeah washington is a beautiful place" Michael replied
"I was talking about you but washington is great too" Luke joked and Michael giggled
for once in a while everything seemed to be going great
