Chapter 2

I woke up strapped to a chair. I tried breaking free several times until I realized that I was chained down with electrical wire. I caught a scent of someone next to me. I looked over and saw a man who looked about in his mid twenties. I could tell he was some sort of supernatural being, but I couldn't tell what. "Where are the hell are we?" He said. "I don't know, who are you?" I asked. "My name is Kyle," he said, " I'm a wendigo." After he told me that his eyes turned white, was slightly freaked out. What the hell are you doing, I thought, you're a freaking true alpha, why should you be scared of him, he should be terrified of you. "We need to get out of here." I said. "I highly doubt that's possible." A voice in the distance said. "These chains are attached to an electrical wire with about 75 volts of energy in it. That's going to keep you from doing any sort of shifting." The unknown figure came into view. It was a women with two men behind her. All of them armed with guns. Shit, I thought, how the hell am I supposed to get out of here. "Imagine how much money we'll get for these two, a true alpha and a wendigo." The women said.Kyle looked at me now with terror in his eyes for finding out my true identity. "We'll make you a deal though," spoke the women, "If you can tell us where Derek Hale is, we might spear you're lives. I was caught short of breath. Hale. That means that there's more people in my family than just my dad."I don't know, I swear to god I have no idea who your talking about. Please... Just let me go." Spoke Kyle. "Well, you're useless." Said the women. She made a motion towards Kyle and then one of her men stepped forward and pulled out a large knife."NO!" Kyle screamed, "NO PLEASE DON'T, PLE!" But the last part was cut out. I could feel the blood splatter on my face."Now," the lady spoke," I'll ask you one more time, where is Derek Hale?" She stepped closer to me. " I... Don't... Know." I said. Now she toke a step closer and was inches from my face. She took out a small knife and placed it on my face. She stared deep into my eyes. " You know," she said, "You look just like Derek, you must be related somewhat." I could hear my heartbeat rising. "I don't know what you're talking about." I said. She slit the blade down the side of my face, and I could feel the blood run down and reach my neck. It took all of 10 seconds for it to heal and be gone completely. I thrashed in the chair and then looked down. I had to focus my anger on getting out. I looked up again my eyes glowing and letting out a low growl exposing my fangs."Wow," she said, "You can't fully transform. That must mean that you can evolve. That makes it even better!" She laughed. I could feel my anger rising and I let out a growl. She took a step back, her face slightly frightened. I focused my anger and pulled out every ounce of strength left in me. And I broke the chains.

I stood up as all of them pulled out some sort of weapon. One of the men lunged out at me with a large knife in his hand. I took him a threw him across the room into the darkness. The other man came at me with a tazer. I picked him up and slammed him into the wall. I had just turned around to go after the women when I felt an agonizing pain in my back. I had been electrocuted. I felt two more people pin my arms behind my back. The women stepped forward, knife in her hand."Now that wasn't very nice of you, was it?" She spoke,"I guess we'll have to do this the hard way." She placed the knife on my neck and started to slit it across when something shot out of the darkness, completely taking her to the ground. The men holding me down were in shock, so I saw this as my chance to escape. I elbowed one in the stomach and he fell to the ground. I grabbed the other ones arm and threw him on top of the other. The person that had attacked the women came into view. He looked to be in his early twenties."Come on!" He said. I didn't move. I couldn't trust this guy. What if he was just another hunter?"I just saved your life," he said,"Do you really think I just risked my own to save yours just so I could kill you again?" I still didn't move. I could feel my eyes still glowing. I blinked my eyes and then they went back to normal."Wow you still don't trust me do you?" He spoke,"Maybe this will change you mind." He looked down and then back up again, his eyes glowing blue."Who are you?" I asked."My name is Derek," he said,"Derek Hale."
