Chapter 90

i walked over to tyler during recess and he smirked, bending down.

"it's a bird! it's a plane! it's su-uper baby! hahaha." he said, mocking the cape i was wearing.

i frowned.

"aw are you sad? are you gonna go cry to your mommies?"

i stood up confidently, "no. i'm going to walk away." i said.

i walked away and tyler stepped on my cape.

"hey!" i shouted and tugged it back.

"bye super baby." he said and laughed, making everyone else laugh.

i grunted and plopped myself next to victoria.

i was wearing the cape for her.

i said i'd play with her so i brought my cape.

"i'm sorry eli. i didn't mean for you to get made fun of for me." she said and looked down.

"no. i love the cape. i don't care." i said and smiled.

she smiled up at me and we ran around together on the playset.

emily pov

"what do we do emily? now he's getting picked on for his cape? he is a little kid. he can have a cape." alison said.

"i know babe. just...don't kill his mom okay slugger?" i said.

"well what are you gonna do?" she asked.

"i'm going to call his mom a bitch and hit her." i said.

alison rolled her eyes.

i laughed, "oh wait...you already did that."

"i hate you sometimes you know that?" alison said.

i laughed, "no you love me. and i have an idea. i just need your help with it." i said and placed my hands on her hips, kissing my wife.

next day 

elijah pov

"fly super eli!" tori cheered.

i laughed and ran around.

i bumped into someone.

 "Sorry." i said.

i looked up and saw tyler.

"wait. nevermind." i said and smirked.

"even after yesterday you still wear this pathetic thing? you're seven." he mocked.

"i like it." i spit and yanked it away from him.

"it's stupid." he said.

"no it's not."

"so who thinks capes are stupid?" my mommy walked over in a cape for herself and a box.

"he does!" everyone yelled and pointed at tyler.

"well. if i didn't have a cape. i couldn't do this." mom said and put the box down.

she grabbed a basketball and ran up to the hoop, jumping up and slamming it into the net.

"woah."

"wow." everyone said in awe.

i smiled.

"oh by the way, that box right there is full of capes if anyone wants one."

everyone ran over and took capes.

i looked at mom and gave her a thumbs up.

she smiled and gave me a thumbs up and winked.
