it was almost as if they didn't exist to each other anymore.
she kept up her facade.
he didn't even look at her anymore.
but they thought about each other.
more than they thought they did.
they envisioned each other.
most of the time it was intimately sexual.
other times,
it was reasons.
reasons as to why he couldn't have just not met a new girl that was better.
reasons as the why she wouldn't love him like he did.
reasons as to why they couldn't be together.
she knew the answer though.
she knew the answers to most of their illogical questions.
she was just to afraid to answer them.
so for a while they separated.
they stopped communication.
they stopped eye contact.
they stopped emotions.
because even in the heart-wrenching state he was in,
there was still a girl.

and he thought he was in love with her.
