This first volume explores difficult themes, sometimes intense ones, that may touch some readers very deeply.

I wish to offer you this warning with honesty and gentle care: this story delves into complex human experiences, at times painful, and may awaken memories or emotions that feel raw and tender.

The book contains passages or references to:

• Acts of violence and assault

• Psychological trauma

• Mental dissociation

• Grief and our relationship with death

• Depression and dark thoughts

• Suicidal ideation

• Substance use

• Harassment and bullying

• Fragile mental health

• Blurred boundaries of consent

• Explicit sexuality between consenting adults

• Intense emotional suffering

• Challenging medical descriptions (such as autopsies)

• Mentions of self-harm

• The use of anti-anxiety medication

• Severe psychological distress

These themes are never present to shock or to romanticize suffering.

They exist because some stories are born in the shadowed corners of life, and because far too many people carry these realities in silence.

If any of these subjects resonate with you, You are not alone. You do not have to hold this burden in silence. Speaking can save lives. Asking for help is never a sign of weakness.

Reading this volume may prove emotionally demanding.

Some pages may awaken old wounds, long-buried memories, or feelings you believed you had made peace with.

If this occurs, pause. Breathe. Reach out to someone you trust.

You deserve to be held, heard, and supported.

I wrote this story in the hope that it might serve as a mirror, an acknowledgment, a quiet breath of recognition, perhaps even a measure of relief, for those who have walked similar paths.

If you find echoes of your own journey within these pages, I hope you discover not merely the resonance of pain, but the quiet affirmation that you are not alone, that your voice holds power, and that your story is worthy of being heard.

Please take gentle care of yourself.

Always.
