"K! Wait up!"
Karylle stopped and turned her head to an almost breathless Anne.
"Ang bilis mo tumakbo girl." She said both her hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath.
Karylle crossed her arms and turned away again when she saw Vice approaching them.
"Wag kang tatakbo!" He said even before she could take off. He stood just next to Anne and held his hand out to motion stop.
"K, just hear him out." Anne said, "Ikaw bakla ka, ayusin mo yan! Ako mismo mananakit sa'yo!" Anne said turning away. She got stopped by Vhong and Billy who got curious and followed.
"Guys? Let's leave them." Anne told the guys, pulling them by the arms.
"Hindi Anne, dito lang kayo. Gusto kong marinig nyo tong mga sasabihin ko eh." Vice said looking straight into Karylle's eyes.
"Ano bang nangyayari dito?" Vhong asked, looking at K and Vice back and forth. Billy did the same.
"Karylle..." he began.
"Go ahead Vice."
"Oo sige. Aaminin ko na, ako na yung nagpapadala sa'yo ng mga bulaklak. Ako si P. Ako yung secret admirer mo."
"Brad?" Vhong said looking at Vice then Billy.
"Kung ano mang biro toh Vice, please itigil mo na. Hindi sya nakakatuwa."
"K, hindi ako nang t-trip. Seryoso nga kasi ako." He said and took her hand, "Seryoso ako." his eyes reciprocating his words.
"Vice." K frowned pulling her hand back, she seemed confused with what's happening.
"Ako nga yun!" Vice pushed, "Ako nga si P! Hindi kita niloloko. Ginawa ko yun dahil gusto kita. Seryosong gusto kita Karylle. Maniwala ka man sa hindi, gusto kita!" he said trying to control his frustration.
"Pero.." K was lost for words.
"Pero bakla ako?"
K didn't say anything. She just stared at him.
"K... Kung alam mo lang kung gaano ako na stress kaiisip dito. Lahat na ng kaibigan ko kinunsulta ko. At alam mo bang iisa lang ang sagot nila?"
"Ano?"
"Gusto nila maging masaya ako."
"Vice, pero.."
"Ikaw lang ang nagpasaya sakin ng ganito."
"Paano kung sinasabi mo lang yan dahil you're lonely. Naghahanap ka lang ng ipapalit mo kay-"
"Noong January 7 ka unang nakatanggap ng flowers diba?"
"Ha?"
"A bouquet of red rosess na walang card pero may nakataling pink na ribbon sa isang rose."
"Paano mo alam yun?" K said turning to Anne, even Anne was shocked.
"Mga 3 days after that, nakatanggap ka ng long stemmed red rose, wala ulit card, pero may pink ribbon na nakatali ulit."
"Ik-ikaw?"
"For the past 3 months K, alam kong iba na ang nararamdaman ko..."
"But I thought it was Yael?"
"Last month, I stopped sending you flowers. I stopped dahil natakot ako. Natakot ako dahil baka masaktan lang ako. Ayun kasi sabi ng Ate ko eh. Masasaktan lang daw ako. Pero nung may nagparamdam sa'yong iba, dun ko na-realize na magiging worth it lahat ng sakit na pwede kong madama dahil siguro na ako. Sigurado na ako na gusto talaga kita. Diba hindi mo naman ipagtutulakan ang isang bagay kung hindi ka desidido? Diba dapat maging totoo ka sa sarili mo? Maging handa kang masaktan sa kahit ano mang resulta ng mga bawat gagawin mo... K, maniwala ka sa'kin. Hindi ito heat of the moment... Matagal na toh."
"Hindi ko maintindihan Vice eh.. I'm sorry pero.."
"K, nag start lang magparamdam sa'yo si Yael last month. At the same time as the pin..." Anne explained further for Vice. Vice nodded and sighed.
"It was you all along?"
"I'm sorry K."
"Vice-"
"K, I'm sorry. Alam kong dapat di ko ginawa sa'yo toh. Okay lang kung galit ka Karylle, maiintindihan ko naman eh." Vice offered a sad smile and tucked his hands in his pockets.
"Vice, let me finish... Hindi naman ako galit eh."
"Hindi ka galit?"
"Hindi noh. Wala naman akong karapatan magalit..."
"Wag mo kong pinapaasa K. Okay lang nga kung galit ka."
"Hindi nga," she chuckled, loosening up a bit, "Siguro shocked, confused at overwhelmed pero hindi ako galit."
"Pasensya ka na ha... Naduwag ako eh. Hindi ko lang kasi alam kung sino ba ako ngayon eh. Yung si Vice pa rin ako pero Jose Marie na ang puso ko."
"It doesn't matter."
"Talaga?" he smiled shyly.
"You're perfect." K wiggled her eyebrows and winked. "Halika nga, ang drama mo eh." K said and pulled Vice for a hug.
"Na-stress ako ng bongga dun Karylle. Grabe." Vice said hugging her back, lifting her off the ground and spinning her round so she was the one that had her back on Anne, Vhong and Billy.
"KISS!!!" the trio said in unison, teasing their two friends.
"Nakakainis kayo!!!" Anne said obviously wiping tears from her eyes with the back of her hand.
"WOW! Hanggang dito may taping Anne?" Vice laughed, teasing her friend, "Si Karylle nga di naiyak? Best Actress?"
"Wag kang ano dyan wakla ha! I'm just-" she used her hands to fan her face, "I'm just so, so happy for you!" Anne sniffed, "Finally!"
"Finally?!" Billy asked, "So alam mo?"
"No...Well... Hindi ko alam na sya si P noh. Alam ko lang na bet nya si K. I was the first people na tinawagan nya kaya. It was midnight nung-"
"HUY! Tumahimik ka dyan!"
"Ay sorry Jose Marie hahaha. Should we start calling you that? Since binata ka na..." Anne suggested and wiggled her brows.
"Mas bagay sa'yo yun Vice." K said linking her arm with his.This didn't go unnoticed by Vhong of course.
"Duma damoves si K oh! Okay yan ah!"
"Dinadaot mo pa Vhong eh!" Vice said sounding annoyed but K kept her arm linked with his so he smiled at K, "Subic tayo?"
"Nga-ngayon na?" K's eyes went wide.
"After Showtime. Weekend naman eh. Ano guys?" He asked the trio too, the three seemed unsure, "Libre ko na, sige! Mga kuripot kayo!"
"I'll go! Masaya yan!" Anne agreed instantly laughing with Vhong.
"Game! Sama ko si Nikki ha." Billy added after Vhong and Anne agreed.
"Pag talaga in love ka, mahilig kang manlibre!" Vhong said making everyone laugh except Vice who just smiled at them sarcastically.
"Yayain din natin sila Juggy at Teddy? Ano Vice? Prepared ka ba sa gastos?"
"Ano toh Ferdinand? Take advantage? Teka lang brad... Pwede bang bawiin.. Si Karylle na lang pala ililibre ko."
"Walang bawian Jose Marie!" Billy said with his phone against his ear as he was trying to ring his girlfriend.
Vice and K just stared at each other with smiles on their faces as they waited for Billy to finish calling his girlfriend. Vice's smile grew wider which made K smile wider too. Vhong and Anne saw this so they teased them again, "Uy! Ang landi mo talaga Vice! Mapalalaki or babae!" Anne said laughing with Vhong.
