"Jess, what have we got?"

"Right, it should be about fifteen miles from you now," Jess said to Anna via the earpiece.

By the time the whole fiasco with Ethan's bomb had finished, it was around eleven o'clock the next morning. When they had assessed the area, Anna and Becker were called out to an anomaly.

"Connor, Matt and Abby are already there," Jess informed them.

Anna drove through London with Becker in the passenger seat. They didn't speak much, both of them were tired and not really in the mood for an anomaly alert, especially after just diffusing a bomb.

"Where now, Jess?"

"Take your next right, then a left at the bottom of the road,"

Anna was soon out of London and driving down tight winding roads. They soon came to some large black gates and they drove down a long driveway.

The stately home was bigger than she expected. It was built from grey stone and long, thick vines of ivory growing across it's wall. As she drove down the lane, she couldn't help but smile at the beauty of the house.

Outside of the car, Anna stood, looking up at the sight. It was more than a house, it was a paradise. It was always a great passion of Anna's, the countryside. Something she had always considered close to her heart, She had grown up in the country, in the middle of nowhere.

"Anna?" Came a voice.

Abby walked towards Anna with a look which was halfway between happiness and worry.

"Abby, what is it?"

"Hyaenodon, male," she said, "Can you come and have a look,"

Abby lead her through the stately home. Anna couldn't help but spin on her heal as she looked up at the grand ceiling. It was beautiful, breath-taking in fact, something to be treasured, not just looked at. Abby seemed a little distracted through, as if something was on her mind. Anna thought it best to leave the subject until the creature was dealt with.

When they reached the wine cellar, it was dark. Plastic sheets hung up from the ceiling and there were so many bottles of fine wine around the walls.

"Through here," Abby said. She lead Anna through a door to the Hyaenodon which lay on the floor, breathing steadily, "We wanted to do a full check, before we sent it back through the anomaly,"

Anna knelt beside the creature, admiring it's beauty, "The perfect killing machine," She sighed, it really was an amazing sight. It looked like a dog, only much bigger, and much more vicious.

"Yes, it's a Hyaenodon. They were fast and vicious carnivores. Late Eocene early Miocene of the Cenozoic era," Anna told her, "He's beautiful,"

"I know, but we need to get him back through the anomaly," Abby said.

"Right, yes," Anna said, suddenly remembering her job. Abby chuckled, knowing how Anna could observe and admire this creature all day.

In no less ten minutes, the creature was put back though the anomaly. Anna and Abby made their way back up to the front of the house. She could sense that Abby was keeping something from her; there was a hint of uncertainty in her eyes.

Anna strode towards the main doors and to the black car. She placed her EMD in a case in the boot. Shutting the boot and walking around the side of the car, Anna stopped dead. This wasn't what she expected to see, not here, not after nearly three years. Before her eyes, dress in a short, floral, sophisticated dress was none other, than Jenny Lewis.
