(Friday)

POV Gojo

"What time did Megs say they were showing up?" Suguru flips his famous waffles.

"About 4." I bounce Mizuki on my knee.

She hits the table with her tiny fists.

"Better hurry up before she destroys the place!" I kiss her head and manage to keep her steady while grabbing one of her toys that fell.

Suguru watches me from the corner of his eye.

I've never let the whole losing an arm thing really get to me. Life has been so good that I refuse to look at anything that has happened in a bad way. I have managed. I let people help me.

I had to adjust obviously, but I have Suguru. Suguru who is the best dad in the world and the best husband.

"Here." He sets plates down and happily takes Mizuki into his lap.

I smile and eat my breakfast watching Suguru attempt to not make a total mess feeding her.

"Yuta said they already found 12 first years for next year. Isn't that crazy!" I stuff delicious waffles in my mouth.

"It's a blessing." Suguru wipes Zuki's mouth off. "Imagine our youth if we had more support surrounding us."

"I would go through everything again if it meant sitting here with you now, even missing this." I wiggle my shoulder and make a kissy face to Zuki who does it back.

"You're doing great Love." Suguru stands up with Zuki on his hip and starts cleaning up the kitchen.

"Hey. Why don't you and Zuki go bug Shoko. I'll clean up." I stand up and grab my plate.

"Alright. Kiss?" Suguru smiles wide and pouts his lips.

I kiss him and it warms my chest like all the times before.

"We will be back!" He calls over his shoulder as the screen door bangs shut.

I think he knows I like to help do the normal things around the home but in privacy. Some things take me longer and I...would rather take my time and figure things out alone.

He respects that.

And I love him for it.

POV Geto

"My baby!" Shoko bends down and scoops up Zuki.

"She told me she wanted another sleepover." I sit on the couch and watch Shoko play with long white curls.

"I so would...but I don't need you guys getting pregnant again! Right?!" She spins Zuki.

"How's the morning sickness going?"

"Ugh." She sets Zuki down and we watch her walk to the toy box. "Horrible."

"Ijichi at the school?" I get up and sit cross legged ushering Zuki into my lap as she stacks blocks.

"Should be on his way back! Just had an overnight. 2 second years and Nanami." Shoko plops into the recliner. "Where's Gojo?"

"Cleaning up breakfast." I smile as purple eyes stare up at me.

"Why clean? Yuji's just going to come in like a tornado!" Shoko laughs and rubs her swollen belly.

"I know that!" I laugh. "Um. On a more serious note...you doing alright?"
