POV Gojo
I lazily roll my aching head to the side so I can watch the storm approaching through the living rooms bay windows. The sky flickers miles from shore with low groans of thunder following. It sits in my chest making me take a deep breath.
Flash then the wait. Thunder.
Inhale. Wait. Exhale.
Flash. Wait. Thunder.
Inhale. Wait. Exhale.
Flash. Wait . Thunder.
Life. Wait. Death.
"Satoru?"
I snap back to the groups discussion on the inverted spear of heaven being found.
"You want to involve yourself a little? It's kind of serious Gojo." Shoko rolls her eyes and taps her pen on her paper.
Nanami elbows her and shakes his head. She huffs and looks back at Suguru who is sitting on the countertop with his mug of warm green tea.
"Like I said the weapon nullifies all techniques which is why it was able to do...so much damage." Suguru's eyes dart behind me at the clouds rolling in.
"But if we are ready and know about it then we can prepare." Nanami settles his sentence after Suguru's testing its worth.
"They are somehow taking pieces of it and coating non cursed objects. Like I guess bullets...Haibara hasn't messaged us back to clarify our questions." I turn and lay on the sofa propping my feet up on Ijichi's lap.
My brain rolls like the clouds outside.
"So...that's why the bullet hit you. Not you being undisciplined with your infinity?" Shoko asks tapping her chin with her pen now.
"I've had my infinity locked down for years. Nothing is getting through it...well until now." I sigh and let the thunder bang in my chest.
"We have our own weapons. We have plenty of curses techniques. We are a force to reckon with." Nanami twists his hands in his lap.
"Agreed." Suguru hops off the counter, his hair bouncing close to his shoulders as he lands. He grabs some papers and hands them out to everyone.
He pauses in front of me and places one next to his face hiding himself as he kisses my forehead. I smile softly up at him and take his paper.
"Did you sleep last night?" Ijichi fixes his glasses as he scans the page.
"No. Anyways, this is our weekly plan. Students need more work. We are all set up here so no more excuses. Though I think it would be a good workout and team exercise to help Nanami build his cabin." Suguru turns to grab his mug and sip.
"Can we find curses near here? Just low grade ones?" Shoko writes down something on her paper.
"There are a few within 10 miles of here. I'll work on that." I pinch the bridge of my nose and squeeze my eyes shut.
My head pounds in agony. I've used my RCT numerous times this morning but it just comes back almost instantly. What does my body want from me?
Ijichi picks my feet up off his lap gently and goes to the kitchen.
"Geto, you got any curses for them to play with?" Nanami gets up also and moves to grab another coffee.
"Um," Suguru stares at the ground, "I don't have many...and the ones I have I want in reserves for just in case."
Nanami pats his arm knowingly as we hear a door shut.
"Good morning Sera and baby!" Shoko gets up and hugs her.
"Oh hello!" Sera rubs her eyes. "I can go back in my room if you are talking..."
"No don't be ridiculous." Nanami sets his coffee down and goes into the kitchen opening up a cabinet.
