Chapter 25 - Wanted: Attention

"I love you, Rhian. I really do. Noon pa man. Hindi ko lang nasabi sayo agad kasi, who knows, baka hindi tayo same ng nararamdaman." She looked at me with apologetic eyes. "I hope that you'll forgive me, dahil sa pagpili ko kay Cal, instead of you."

Napatigil ako sa paghahanda ng pagkain namin.

I stared at Glaiza, "What?" I want to hear it again from her. "What did you just said, Glaiz?" I can feel the blood rushing to my face. "I said, I love you," Glaiz looked down, and I can see the sweet smile on her face. "I love you, Rhi." I walked, getting near to her. I am feeling giddy. "Ano nga ulit?" Nilapit ko ang ears ko sa kanya, I want to hear it, again. I can feel my heart, it is beating really fast. "Pakiulit, Glaiz?" I looked at her, "Please? Pakiulit."

Hindi ko napigilang mapangiti. "Sabi ko, mahal kita. Oo, mahal kita, Rhian. I love you!" She shouted at me, not that loud, pero she made me smile.

I quickly moved para mayakap siya. "I love you too, Glaiz. Alam mo yan, right?" She nodded, and nakayuko pa din siya even though she is also hugging me back. "Oh," lumayo ako saglit, "bakit parang, nahihiya ka ba, Glaiz?" She giggled, and looked up at me, "Oo, eh. It's like, ehhh. Rhian!" She slapped my shoulder, making me smile again.

I can't help it, kaya I pinched her fat cheeks. "Ehhh, I love you, Glaiza Galura. Ang babaeng pinakaweirdo," She is just staring at me, turning red, "at dahil dun, minahal ko siya ng husto."

I kissed the tip of her nose. It made her flinched a bit. "Rhian, ano ba." Glaiza looked sweet. "Kinikilig ako, ano ba, Rhian." She poked my shoulder...

Pero I can't help it.

I decided to kiss her, again, for the second time.

It feels so magical that I am now freely kissing the person, the woman I love. I invited her in, and she went through. Her tongue dances behind my lips, making me feel like I'm flying in heaven.

I held Glaiza's face, softly guiding her.

She flinched quickly. "Whoa." She mouthed. "I'm sorry! Hindi na ako makahinga!" She then laughed, and kissed my cheeks. "I love you, Rhian." She whispered that in my ear.

Ang bilis ng oras. It's almost 3:26pm. Ganito ba talaga kabilis ang oras kapag kasama mo ang taong pinakamamahal mo?

*knock knock*

*knock knock*

Napatawa ako sa pagkatok. "Sino yan?" Napatawa din si Rhian dahil hindi na ako makahinga ng maayos.

"Hello, Ms. Galura. Pwede na po kayo lumabas ng hospital later tonight sabi ni Doc."

Yung nurse lang pala, akala ko kung sino na. Tumango ako sa kanya, and said, Thank you. At mabuti naman din kung makakauwi ako agad dahil hindi ko din masyadong nagugustuhan ang environment dito.

Buti na lang, nandito si Rhian. "Sige po, Ms. Galura, Ms. Ramos, lalabas na po ako." Pagkalabas na pagkalabas ng nurse, humalakhak si Rhian ng tawa. "Uhh, hey. Glaiz." Tinitignan ko pa lang siya, pero hindi ko na maiwasan ang kiligin. "Hey, yoohoo?" Naghand wave siya, pero wala.

Tinitignan ko na ang taong pinakamamahal ko.

Nagulat ako ng bigla niya akong hinalikan ulit. "Uy, ano? Nagising ka na ba?" I smiled at Rhian, at pininch niya ulit ang cheeks ko. "Rhian naman eh. Ano ba." Bigla akong nagblush, at kinilig. Bigyan ka ba naman ng surprise kiss?
