Unity at Dawn (Maze Runner and TFP Crossover)

Escape?

Gally looked at the four bots in disbelief, then turned his head back to Thomas.

"Fine, take them with you. Just know they'll probably kill you when they get a chance, it's safer here than being near them."

Thomas shook his head.

"You're wrong about them and this place isn't our home okay, we were put here. We were trapped here, but at least out there we have a choice. We can make it out of here okay, I know that." Thomas said.

All of the boys stood around thinking for a moment, before a handful of boys including Winston and Jeff walked over. Ready to go and the bots came right after looking to take the lead to protect the kids.

"Gally, it's over, just come with us." Thomas asked.

Gally shook his head.

"Good luck against the grievers." Gally said and with that the group and the bots headed into the Maze, Minho showing the way.

On the way Newt looked up at the two cons.

"Your helping us?" Newt asked, surprised.

"Don't get used to it boy." Starscream replied.

Next thing the group knew, the door to escape was right around the corner. But there was a griever and two griever cons blocking the way.

"Grievers?" Chuck asked, Thomas nodded and handed Chuck the key.

"We'll take care of them, you guys stand back." Bumblebee said.

Thomas nodded and with that all of the bots charged.

Wheeljack took one griever con head, using his katanas to quickly slice its claws and soon its head. In the meantime Knockout and Bumblebee had surrounded the second griever con and Knockout shocked it with his staff while Bumblebee shot the griever con through its head.

After taking care of the last griever con Wheeljack went to crush the normal griever when all of a sudden a saw whirred behind him and his arm was suddenly sliced off and Wheeljack yelled in pain and he turned and saw Knockout smirking before he kicked Wheeljack off the side and into the darkness below.

"Thanks for the escort." Knockout said.

"No!" Bumblebee yelled and tried to run at Knockout before he was suddenly kicked in the back of the knee and turned around, Knockout ran behind Bumblebee and held his arms back.

"Did you really think it would be that easy?" Starscream asked sarcastically and Knockout heard the Griever screeching behind him before he lifted his leg and crushed it while still keeping a hold on Bumblebee.

"Get fragged." Bumblebee said while struggling to get out of Knockout's grip.

Starscream shrugged for a moment before taking his clawed hand and shoving it into Bumblebee's throat and ripping out his voicebox which left Bumblebee unable to speak.

"No!" Thomas yelled as Theresa held him back.

Starscream turned towards the kids as Knockout released his hold on Bumblebee, letting him lifelessly fall to the ground.

"I nearly forgot about the fleshies." Knockout said.

"Hand over the key boy and you can return to your precious glade alive." Starscream said, referring to Chuck, but the other gladers got in front of him.

"We'll get out, or we die trying." Thomas said, then he hit his spear on the ground and lifted it up towards the cons with the other gladers lifting their weapons in response.

Both cons just looked at each other then smirked.

"Very well." Knockout said smirking, then he whirred his saw blade.

But before either bot could take a step they heard some shuffling behind them and saw two griever cons coming towards them.

"Take care of them." Starscream said.

Knockout went over expecting the Griever Cons to be slow as ever, but then to his surprise the Griever con sprinted at Knockout and before he could think the two slammed into him and he went into a struggle. Starscream noticed and went to go assist him, but then a shot from a blaster hit Starscream right in his spark.

Starscream fell to his knees as he saw Bumblebee was the one who fired the shot, still alive but very weak.

Bumblebee smirked at Starscream as the Decepticon fell face down defeated once and for all, Knockout who witnessed it during his struggle against the griever cons got an angry look on his face.

"You putrid little-" Knockout didn't get to finish before one of the griever cons grabbed Knockout's saw blade and began to lead towards his neck and as it was about to reach he kicked the griever con holding his arm off of the edge and in response the Griever con holding him pulled Knockout and itself down to the darkness below.

The Gladers looked on in shock at what just happened and Thomas noticed Bumblebee was still moving.

"Bee." Thomas started to approach him to help him, but then two trapdoors opened under the scout making him also fall into a dark abyss. Then the doors shut behind him.

Thomas looked in disbelief at the sight that they lost the bots for good, the other Gladers walked up to him and Minho grabbed his shoulder.

"Thomas, we have to go." Minho said.

"I know." Thomas said, getting up.

They ran towards the door when another normal Griever came up and the Gladers engaged in battle as the ones with spears went to push it over the edge more came up behind them, as Theresa and Chuck ran to the door with the key as a screen popped as the door needed a code.

In the chaos multiple boys were killed by the grievers.

"Thomas there's a code!" Theresa yelled.

Thomas in the struggle realized what the code must be.

"Minho, what's the sequence?!" Thomas asked.

"What?" Minho asked, confused.

"The sequence of the maze, what is it?" Thomas asked.

Minho while keeping the grievers at bay with his spear said each number loud enough for Theresa to hear and midway he was being grabbed by a griever as the boys tried to help him.

"Get the hell off me!" Minho yelled at the griever.

Jeff who was watching ran right towards the griever and stabbed it in the eye which freed Minho, but in response the griever grabbed Jeff with his mouth as he screamed in pain and was carried off.

"Jeff!" Winston yelled.

Minho yelled out the numbers then after the last one, Theresa hit enter and the screen turned green.

"That's it!" Theresa yelled.

Then walls from above started coming down behind the group and the door shut in front of them.
