Thomas could see so many different colors, he never thought he would see while he was in the maze. He saw so much blue around him as so many memories came flooding at him all at once as he could distinctly hear new and unknown voices around him as he saw himself sitting at a computer in a small room where different people were also working as a woman in a lab coat approached him.
"Very good, Thomas come with me." The Woman said.
Then they walked past tanks filled with water that had the boys from the maze inside them. screaming and banging on the glass they kept going.
Suddenly the scene before him changed and him and Theresa were standing in an observation window watching a red Autobot strapped down to a large metal table being held down by metal restraints.
Having one of two horns removed from the side of his head.
"Theresa, why are we doing this?" Thomas asked.
"Wicked isn't good." Theresa's voice said distorted.
"Wicked is good." The Woman said.
"I can't keep watching them die." Thomas said.
Thomas finally woke up from his flashback and saw that he was in the pit with Theres. Chuck, Newt and Minho were right outside the door.
"Hey, are you okay?" Theresa asked worried.
"What the hell were you thinking?!" Chuck asked Thomas.
"What happened?" Thomas asked.
"Gally's taken control, he said we have a choice. Either join him and help kill the bots, or get banished at sundown with you." Newt replied.
"Where are the bots?" Thomas asked.
"We don't know, no one can find the cons either. Last time they saw any bots, they were heading towards the forest to take out more of those griever-cons.They've been out of sight ever since." Minho said.
Thomas shook his head in disbelief.
"The others agreed to what Gally said?" Thomas asked.
"Gally has everyone convinced that you and the bots are the reasons all of this has happened." Theresa said.
"Well, he's mostly right." Thomas said.
"What are you talking about?" Minho asked.
"This place, it's not what we thought it was. It's not a prison, it's a test. It all started when we were kids, they would give us these challenges so they could experiment on us. One of them was to study the activity of another bot, the one that had that horn we found. They captured him and used him to make the griever cons, then people started disappearing every month. One after the other like clockwork." Thomas explained.
"Sending them up to the maze." Newt realized.
"Yeah, but not all of us." Thomas replied.
"What do you mean?" Newt asked.
"Guy's, I'm one of them. The people who put you up there. I'm one of them, I watched you guys for years. The entire time you've been here. I was on the other side of it. And so were you." Thomas said, referring to Theresa.
"What?" Theresa asked in disbelief.
"Theresa, we did this to them." Thomas replied.
"No, that can't be true." Theresa said.
"It is." Thomas replied.
"Why would they send us up if we were with them?" Theresa asked.
"It doesn't matter." Thomas replied.
