"He's right, it doesn't matter. Because the people we were before the maze, they don't even exist anymore. These creators, they made sure of that. But what matters now, is who we are now and what we do right now. You went into the maze and you found a way out." Newt said.

"Yeah, but if I hadn't, Alby would still be alive and the bots would still be here to help us." Thomas said with regret.

"Maybe, but we've proven to them we know how to take care of ourselves. And if Alby were here, he would be telling you the exact same thing. Pick your ass up and finish what you started, cause if we do nothing that means Alby died for nothing. And I can't have that." Newt said, determined.

"Okay, but we gotta get through Gally first." Thomas said.

The next scene shows the destroyed state of the glade with the village in pieces and fire still burning near the trees, then we see Gally carving a cross over Alby's name on the wall.

Then two fit gladers carried a knocked out Thomas and a conscious Theresa over to the entrance of the maze.

"This is such a waste." Gally said.

"Gally, this doesn't feel right man." Winston said, not approving this idea.

"What if Thomas is right, maybe it could lead us home." Jeff said.

"We are home okay and I don't want to have to cross anymore names off that wall." Gally replied.

"You really think banishing us is gonna solve anything?" Theresa asked.

"No, but this isn't banishing. It's an offering." Gally said, then all of a sudden the guy holding Theresa tied her arms above her head on a wooden pole.

"Gally, what are you doing?!" Theresa asked in shock.

"Do you really think I'm gonna let Thomas back into the maze after what he's done? Look around you, look at our Glade. This is the only way, once the grievers get what they came here for everything goes back to the way it was!" Gally said.

"Are you hearing this? Why are you all just standing there? he's crazy!" Theresa said.

"Will you shut up?!" Gally said.

"The grievers are going to come back. And they're going to keep coming back until you're all dead." Theresa said. "I said shut up, now tie him up." Gally said, referring to Thomas. The two guys next to Thomas went to grab him, but then all of a sudden Thomas elbows one of them in the crotch and Newt whacks the other in the back of the head as Theresa kicks the guy standing in front of her as Frypan cuts her down.

Gally tries to stop this, but Minho points his machete at him threateningly as Chuck runs over with supplies. The group stands in front of the doors.

"You're full of surprises aren't you." Gally said.

"You don't have to come with us, but we are leaving, anyone who wants to come. Now is your last chance." Thomas said,

"Don't listen to him, he's just trying to scare you." Gally said.

"No, I'm not trying to scare you. You're already scared, alright I'm scared, but I'd rather risk my life out there than spend the rest of it here." Thomas said.

"Then we can't let you go alone." A distant voice said.

Everyone looked over to the treeline and saw both of the Autobots and Decepticons coming out of the treeline, with Knockout flicking away a piece of the griever cons from his armor in disgust.

"Where the hell have you been?" Minho asked.

"Staying hidden from those that don't understand." Wheeljack said, referring to Gally.
