Katsuki always hated parties, especially Halloween. The self proclaimed "Bakusquad" always dragging him to some rando's house.
Katsuki has gotten closer with his friends over the years. In group hangouts they can just be somewhere in silence, it's nice. Just hang out in Denki's room and each do their own activity. He's even gotten closer to the nerd, they haven't fought in a few weeks. It's the small things that make katsuki happy, even with a scowl on his face.

Katsuki and Sero always seem to have a mutual understanding of something stupid happening, and give each other side eyes to show they'll bring this up again later.

Ashido just treats Katsuki like a girls girl, and he gives in so quickly and fits the role, getting his nails done while they gossip at a sleepover. He joins when it's girls day, and even changes his whole attitude to sassy when needed to judge.

Denki is touchy and loud, so at first katsuki hated him. After a little while, he realized they are kinda similar and he loves the random head on his shoulder during movie night, or hearing another ADHD info dump. He tries to show he cares about all his idiots.

Ejiro is definitely his ride or die, even if he wouldn't trust him alone with his parents to not say something stupid. Not that Ei would actually say anything bad. But they definitely hang out the most going to random events or just sitting next to each other for hours.

The whole group has learned to understand each other's little habits and meaning to everything they do. Not that Katsuki would admit how much he cares for his friends out loud, but he would definitely cook them a 5 star meal when they skip lunch.

However Halloween changes everything. They get into the spirit and make him go outside. They get drunk at parties and he has to take care of them. This one was one out of the blue.

They were still in class when their 3-A group chat got a message, and half the class took their phone out. Katsuki stayed writing his paper, class ended soon and this assignment was only allowed to be worked on in class. Those idiots could fail for all he cared.

His phone started buzzing more, then a tap on his shoulder. Aizawa was sleeping in the front of the room. He turns to dek-Izuku, whispering an angry "what"! Izuku points to ejiro across the room. Clearly having tried to get his attention, waving stupidly, he pointed towards his phone hinting Bakugou should read it.

Class is almost over anyway, he continues writing. He hears a quiet slam in Ejiro's direction choosing to keep ignoring him. Ok nevermind with a glance Ei just gave up slamming his head into the table. He Snickers silently.

The bell rings around a minute later. Everyone starts talking immediately packing up their bags. Ejiro runs over, phone in hand. "Dude you shouldve looked at your phone I tried to get you out of it" his face is all twisted in sorry hand at the back of his head apologetically. He hands the phone over for katsuki to read it.

Hanta: you hear Momo's family would be out of town for Halloween and she offered a big party!

Denki: omomgomogm can we go guysyyssywe need costumes 😭

Ashido: we should totally all choose eachothers fits. I call blastys

Denki: you know he won't even read this till he goes to bed, it's okokk we'll make plans for him
