APPLICATIONS. When applying, please submit your form under the "Form Here" sections below. I prefer commented forms, but Google Docs and similar formats are fine. If you're not selected, please don't take it personally. This is simply my first apply fic, and I don't want to overwhelm myself by having too many characters to plan out. There are plenty of apply fics like this one out there! Apply as much as you want—just make sure your characters aren't too similar to each other.
DETAILS. Yay, the fun part! Be as descriptive, detailed, and diverse as you want. The more descriptive, the better I can characterize your character. Key notes to remember: the setting is 1998 in East Texas. For non-Americans, that's the stereotypically Southern part of Texas. Your character must be of college/university age unless stated otherwise below. Every character will be a witch. It's the only supernatural species being used. More descriptions and restrictions will be listed below.
FACE-CLAIMS. I would greatly appreciate it if everyone could select unproblematic castings, and if the face-claims have a semi-decent amount of pictures. Since this story does take place in 1998, I don't mind younger versions of actors/actresses. On that note, please don't choose influencers or anyone not in the realm of film. I am very open with face-claims since I don't use many gifs in my work, but please be considerate when choosing.
ROLES. I will be choosing characters based on the applications. However, I do plan on killing off characters for the plot, though there will be a chance of being revived—because nobody ever really stays dead in the TVDU. I will base which characters die off first by activity status. More information on activity status and character descriptions I am looking for will be listed below.
ACTIVITY STATUS. If you're chosen, it's essential to stay active. I genuinely love comments! I respond and interact as much as I can, and I will be extra active in order to continue writing and keep the engagement up. That being said, PLEASE be respectful of my writing choices and your peers. They are NOT their characters. No matter how they're written. If I see disrespectful and/or mean behavior, your character will be automatically removed (Love Island style), and you will be blocked. I understand not everyone is constantly online, but interact whenever you can, even if it's small. Anything counts!
