"To skip?" I crossed my arms raising an eyebrow.

"No, to go shopping." He chuckled.

"Oh I'm not, I forgot about the Gala."

"Right, my mom has been hammering me about it. I've been too busy with practice to pick up my tux. "

"We can go right now?" I offered.

"Sweet." He smiled.

"Alright. Hop in, I need to find a dress for tonight so you're gonna sit through that too."

"I can help you try them on." He winked.

"Oh shut up." I laughed.

He laughed and we both got into my car. We drove past a Starbucks and well I obviously had to stop to get some. Coffee is my life. I'm addicted. Once my mom grounded me from coffee and I blacked out, like I have no clue what I did those days. I also ate a random odd tasting tic tac, But that's besides the point.

I ordered a caramel frappe because I'm basic. Deal with it! Afterwards we went to pick up Issac's tux. And may I say. He looked ridiculous...ly hot!

I was basically drooling.

"So, how do I look?" He asked.

Alright Lena, play it cool. "So freaking hot. " shoot I think I said that aloud.

He laughed. "Yeah, you did, but thanks, now it's  you're turn."

After we put the tux in the car we made our way to a dress shop.

"Too short, too long, too green, eww  that's a dress?, to much sparkle..." I went on and on and no dress stood out.

"This is a waste, I'm sorry." I collapsed by Issac.

"No need for apologies. " he smiled down at me.  "Hey how bout that one?" He pointed to the rack.

"That... Is actually perfect. " I stood up walking toward it.

"Except the price is ridiculous. " I put it back.

"Hey, at least try it on."

I stared down at the lacy gown. "Guess it won't hurt to try..."

I rush into the change room and shimmy into the tight mermaid gown. Wow, this is so cute, considering I don't like dresses.

I walk out and see Issac on his phone. "How do I look?"

"So freaking hot, shoot I think I said that aloud." He smirked.

"Shut up!" I threw a dress at him.

He laughed and put his phone on the chair before walking up to me. He put his left hand on my waist and pulled me closer. He gently tucked a loose hair strand behind my ear. "Perfecto." He grinned.

I blushed looking down. "I'm gonna change."

He smiled stepping back. When I got into the dressing room I pressed my back against the wall holding my hand to my chest. "Woah." I slightly whispered.

I shook my head and changed into my regular clothes then walked out. "Ready?"

"As ready as Fredy." I shook my head and walked out with him leaving the beautiful dress behind.

"Oh shoot, I left my phone on the chair! Someone distracted me. " he winked. "Be right back." I nodded and he jogged in.

I decided to buy a pretzel from the stand that was three feet away.

"Thanks." I smiled at the cashier.

I chewed my pretzel until Issac came back.

"Want some?" I asked.

"Nah, you eat it." I nodded and kept munching.

"Hey can we swing by my place?" He asked.

"Sure." I drove towards the rich neighborhood confused.

We stopped at the biggest house- no mansion, on the block. "This is your house?"

"Not really, Daren's dad owns it. My mom married his dad, he's loaded."

"Oh alright." We drive up the drive way and Issac enters a code on the gate and we drive past it.

We stop at the front and Issac turns to me. "Want to just hang here till before the Gala?"

"Sure, won't your family mind?"

"Bart, Darren's dad, is on a business trip and mom is currently helping set up, as well as yours. "

"Alright." I smile. We both get out and walk into the Mansion.
