Chapter 10: Remember Pt. 2

Start from the beginning

"Yes!" You cut him off no longer internally battling yourself you were ready to get back into the game. Sherlock blinked a few times surprised by your response, of course there were things he still couldn't deduce about you,and you planned to keep it that way. A small grin spread across his face.

"The game is on."

Sherlock filled you in on the case on the way back to Baker Street.

"A dominatrix,"

"Yes that means-"

"I know what that means," Sherlock raised his eyebrow at you.

"What?" He merely smirked and starred out the window the rest of the car ride.

"So she's keeping them in her house?"

"Yes," Sherlock answered Johns questioned as he discussed his ideas on how to get the photos.

(Yes I know this doesn't follow the original story line but just go with it)

"Sherlock, it's two am why do we need to discuss this now?"

"Because, (y/n), I do my best thinking out loud-"

"And apparently in a room full of tired people." Sherlock mumbled something to himself before heading off to his room. The flat was a bit messier than usual, but everything looked the same stacks of papers everywhere strange unknown substances on the countertops. It felt like home.

"Sorry, (y/n), but I guess the couch is yours again."

"I don't mind," you waved off johns concerns and bid him a goodnight. Before you left you grabbed a small backpack full of clothes and other essentials, so you wouldn't have to sleep in your clothes. Once ready it took you no time to fall asleep, and you did so with a smile on your face.

You awoke to the smell of tea the next morning. In the kitchen John was pouring himself a cup while sherlock looked at something under the microscope everything was normal. This is what seemed to be normal for you now. Their flat felt more like home than Molly's you never would have guessed that your life would've changed so drastically, but you liked this change.

You yawned and sat up making the couch creak a bit alerting the two that you were awake.

"Morning, (y/n), would you like a cup of tea?" John asked.

"Actually I-"

"She'll have coffee," Sherlock finished your request for you. Both you and John starred at him in shock for a moment. Did he... "You didn't think I would start figuring you out eventually did you?" You hadn't realized how sloppy you'd been getting, and immediately started to put on your mask, but it wasn't as easy this time.

After the shock subsided things went on like normal. "I'm sorry, but we don't have cof-"

"Far left cabinet, too shelf in the far hand corner," Sherlock again finished the sentence for John. Neither of you knew how to react to sherlock this morning. You smiled a bit as John, still in a state of shock, brewed a batch of coffee.

An hour later the three of you were headed off to The Woman's house. You weren't sure what to expect or what was going to happen once you got there. The car ride was pleasant with chat about the week while you were away and how worried sherlock was about you (even if he denied it as just a friendly concern).

"You can pull over here," Sherlock said to the driver suddenly.

"We're still a few blocks away though?" You asked as he jumped out of the cab into the streets of London. It wasn't a crowded part of town thankfully and the alley he led you guys too was even more private. "Uh, Sherlock? What are we doing here?" He ignored you and proceeded to talk to John.

"Hit me," he said to John rp ending down slightly so his face was at a more reasonable height for John to hit. The two of you started at him in shock.

"Hit you?"

"Yes, John in the face," Sherlock replied a bit agitated at what he perceived to be stupidity. It didn't take long for things to become heated between the two when John still refused to punch sherlock in the face. You stood off to the side watching their little scene thinking it best not to interrupt. Not until Sherlock was about to hit John. After less than a minute of fighting Sherlock looked as annoyed as he would be at Anderson, and you knew  this would end badly if something wasn't done. You sighed, took a step forward, and brought your fist smashing into the side of Sherlock's face. Not as hard as you could but hard enough.

"What the bloody hell, (y/n)!" John shouted. You shrugged and cradled your fist all the speculations about Sherlocks cheek bones being able to cut things were correct and not to mention they were most likely made out of steel.  Sherlock held his hand over the left side of his fave you had punched, but thankfully didn't seem to be in great pain.

"At least she listened to me," Sherlock said to John "and apparently strong." He moved his jaw a bit to get the stiffness out. You didn't feel very good about it but it was better than them getting into a full blown fight, so it seemed like the better of the two evils. John, however just starred at the pair of you like you were mental. "Now," Sherlock straightened up and began walking back toward the main street," we pay a visit to the Women."
