Shoko looks at him in his right eye as he shakes his head. Shoko sighs and pats his arm while picking up Kanao.

"What's Utahime up to?" She asks.

Haibara opens his mouth but shuts it quickly. He points to the direction of his house and motions with his hands.

"Baking?" Nanami tilts his head as he leans against the island.

Haibara nods.

"You'd be a force to reckon with in charades Bara." Satoru chuckles as he stands up and gives Sera's tummy to the girls.

—11:00p.m—

"House is a lot quieter with all the girls gone." Satoru paces around the deck as I sit with my legs on the railing.

"Just relax Satoru." I pat my lap and I see his eyes spark as he walks over and straddles me without hesitation.

He lays his head on my chest as I brush his hair back. I can feel his breathing steady and his heart set back to a slow pace.

"What's got you so wound up?" I whisper as I place a kiss to his forehead.

"I don't know. Something feels off..."

Satoru grabs his phone from his pocket and puts it to his ear.

"Nanami! What's...." Satoru sits up and pushes off my chest to stand.

"Satoru..."

He waves for me to shush which makes me glare at him. I wait.

POV Gojo

"The cars not there Gojo." Nanami's words bounce back and forth in my head as I know why I have been on edge since everyone left half hour ago.

"I'll look around." I click the end call button with a shaky breath.

"Satoru..."

"Suguru just hold on."

I unleash my six eyes and scan around our home, 1 mile, 5 miles, 50 miles, 200 miles, 600 miles, 1,000 miles, 1300 miles...

Megumi.

"Suguru! The boys are almost to the school!" I run downstairs and can hear Suguru following me.

"What? How?" He yells as I burst through our bedroom door and throw on my uniform pants.

"How the hell would I know! I can't believe I didn't notice. I could have looked for him earlier..."

"Satoru relax..." Suguru has his hands up as I pace the room like a caged tiger buttoning up my bottoms.

"Relax? They are going to die!" I don't even try to find my jacket as I run out to the beach.

"Satoru you better not even think you are going alone!" Suguru races after me.

"You don't need to come! I go in pew pew my red. Maybe fucken hollow purple the whole building! Who cares now!" I scribble my writing along the sand to save my eyes some energy.

"You are completely letting your technique take over your judgement Satoru." Suguru steps in the path of my finger.
