Marcus crouched behind the mailbox, staring at the empty street. Jamir's bike was on the curb, tipped over. No helmet. No backpack. Nothing.
He scrolled through TikTok, hoping for a clue. Comments were a mess:
"Jit went missing and never came back 😬"
"That truck is kinda sus"
"Bro is cooked fr"
His stomach sank. He didn't just vanish... something's wrong.
Then he heard it-the warped jingle of the white ice cream truck. It wasn't like normal ice cream music. Off-key. Slow. Creepy.
He hit "live" on his phone. Whispering:
"If anyone's watching... my son... he's here somewhere."
A shadow moved in the truck window. Marcus froze. Was it Jamir? Or someone else?
Samantha Clark - POV
Samantha crouched behind a dumpster. Her hands shook as she held her phone. Her last video was trending fast. Some viewers thought she was joking. Some were actually scared.
Scrolling:
"She prob trolling fr"
"Stay safe fr"
"This is scary af"
Her best friend Jenna had called five times. Panic in her voice.
"Sam, get out! Don't even go near it!"
Samantha whispered back:
"I can't just let it happen again. I need proof."
The truck idled closer. She raised her phone and saw movement in the back. Shadows shifted unnaturally, too coordinated. She shivered.
Detective Angela Ruiz - POV
Angela stared at her wall map. Pins marked every missing kid in the last month. Same neighborhoods. Same week. Same time. And always-a white ice cream truck.
Her phone buzzed. Anonymous tip:
"Check the live feeds. The loop is expanding. They're watching you."
Angela leaned back. The network wasn't random. It was organized, smart, and using social media to scare everyone.
And now it's feeding off us.

From the shadows, six figures appeared. Silent. Precise. Their movements were almost like a dance.
Marcus shouted:
"Jamir!"
The truck door slid open. The warped jingle hit a high, almost unbearable pitch. Marcus stepped forward. Samantha froze. The first real loop had begun.
