"Please stay."

Taehyun stares at the younger shocked, not because he just asked him to stay, but because he just touched his wrist in the most gentle way possible. The touch still lingered on his skin, Kai's hopeful gaze was staring back at him, making his knees tremble.

Finally realizing everything that's going on, he immediately pulled away from the younger before scratching his head with an awkward smile.

"You sure? I don't wanna ruin your day or anything.."

Before he could even finish, he was already pulled away by Beomgyu who had been watching in silence all along. Kai immediately followed after giggling, his mind still stuck on how the older's flustered face looked like. His ears were tipped red and it looked like he had pink blush on. Adorable.

"Told you I know what I'm doing."

Beomgyu whispered in Taehyun's ear while mindlessly dragging him everywhere, grinning in between.

"You're right.. even I thought you were fighting for real."

The older laughs playfully and hits the younger's shoulders while trying to pull him to a nearby selfie booth.

"Come on we're literally best friends. Our fights last up to five minutes max."

Kai, who was following behind didn't get to hear anything they said since he was practically squeezing through every gap he could find. By the time he finally found the two sitting on a wooden bench at a random corner, they had already gotten ice cream cones topped with chocolate syrup and a wafer bar.

"Kai! We got one for you!"

Embarrassed, Taehyun slowly hands the younger his ice cream cone while avoiding eye contact. He didn't know what kind of flavour or toppings Kai would like so he went for one of the best sellers which was a creamy strawberry ice cream topped with banana and filled with colourful candy in the center.

"Are there any bananas in this?"

Taehyun nods while pointing at the top of the cone where a large chunk of banana was clearly visible.

"I'm allergic to bananas.."

The older immediately widens his eyes while looking around nervously. His gaze turning anxious and worried.

"You can have mine. It's chocolate."

They stared at each other for a few seconds, and at some point, Taehyun got lost in the younger's eyes. He looked amazing in the sun, his blonde hair slightly messy, with a comfortable oversized white t-shirt and baggy jeans. It took a few more seconds before the younger finally broke into laughter while leaving the older shocked, chocolate ice cream dripping onto his fingers.

"I'm just kidding, Hyun. I'm not allergic to bananas."

"Oh thank god.."

The three sat there while busily trying to avoid getting ice cream stains on their white clothing, glancing at each other from time to time. Beomgyu finished his ice cream early and decided to go for some rides since he was getting bored with his phone, leaving the other two awkwardly waving their goodbyes.

At some point, Kai could feel someone staring at him and looked up confused, only to make eye contact with Taehyun who had finished with his ice cream long ago.

"Why are you staring?"

"Just looking at the view behind you."

A flush of red immediately made its way to Kai's face and he almost choked on his cone. He quickly looks away embarrassed before returning to his ice cream to keep himself busy.
