Soobin lets out a breath of relief as he flips the open sign on the glass door revealing that it's finally closed.
He had to work extra shifts today since there weren't other workers available at the time. It was cold and late at night. The cool breeze tugged on his bangs, it was like he was reliving spring all over again even though it just ended.
I miss spring..
"Yah.. what is that guy doing walking around like he just drank all the alcohol in the club?"
"Probably just some random alcoholic."
"He's handsome though.. what a waste of a pretty face."
Soobin, overhearing the conversation of the two girls turned to see what they were talking about. And boy was he shocked.
What's he doing here so drunk?
Without thinking any further, he immediately started running to the younger.
"Yah Kang Taehyun!"
As he reached the younger boy, he could see the weak expression on his face. He looked tired, like he had been through hell. In fact, it looked like he had been through more than hell.
"Do you still like me?.."
"What is going on inside that head of yours, wake up!"
"Do you still like me?.."
"Yah! Wake up pabo!"
"Do you still like me?..
"What do you mean?! Who likes you?! Wake up!"
"I like you too.."
"Kang Taehyun what the heck are you saying?!"
"I like you too.."
"What do you mean? Who?!"
"I like you too.."
Kai..

"Yeonjun-ssi. There's someone asking to see you."
The pink haired boy gave a confused look before putting his art supplies down and walking to the door. It was raining heavily outside, the sound of droplets of rain hitting his bedroom window was comforting to his ears.
He opened the front door only to find no one whatsoever. The rain was too heavy and it fogged his view, painting everything in grey and white.
A disappointment.
As he was about to close the door, he suddenly saw a pop of blue in the distance. And when he squinted his eyes enough, he could see a boy sitting on a bench nearby.
Who.. is that?
The pink haired boy immediately went back inside the house to grab an umbrella before heading out again in the heavy rain to find out who the mysterious boy was. As he started approaching him, he could see that the boy was the one holding the blue umbrella, and that made him wonder.. What was someone doing out there in the rain?
"Junni hyung?"
That voice.
And that nickname.
"Beomgyu?"
The younger was soaked, the umbrella didn't really help much, and by looking at it, it seems like there were some holes in it too.
"Oh my gosh Beomie, what are you doing here? You're gonna catch a cold!"
The little one shook his head before chuckling softly.
"You're still acting dramatic as always hyung."
Yeonjun's eyebrows furrowed and his hands were landing on his hips now.
"Dramatic? You're literally soaked and you call me dramatic? Also, why weren't you replying to my texts?"
The younger boy smiled before standing up, startling the older as he drops his blue umbrella and immediately gets into the same umbrella as Yeonjun, giving them no more space left to breathe.
"Beomie what are you doing-"
Before he could move, the younger had already captured him in his small arms, hugging him gently while burying his face in the older's chest.
Silence.
The only sound now was the rains dropping onto windows and roofs. The sounds that would make Yeonjun calm and comforted. But now, with the younger hugging him so gently, so softly, he was nowhere near calm. His heart was beating erratically, his breaths became uneven and his clothes were slowly getting soaked yet.. he couldn't care less.
"Beomgyu.."
He wanted to curse at himself for the shakiness in his voice. His poor heart wasn't used to any of this. He wasn't used to hugging someone so casually, falling for someone so deeply, or caring for someone so truly.
It was all new to him.
The little one pulled back slowly, his arms were still around the older's waist while he looked at him. He could see the nervousness in the older's eyes. The way he tries to avoid eye contact. The way he tries to pretend that he's perfectly fine when he's fidgeting with his fingers under the umbrella. He found it cute.
"I'll get going now."
Yeonjun was blushing hard now. His ears tipped red and his cheeks were flushed like he had put on blush all over his face. The younger smiled and tip toed up to reach the older's height before gently placing a peck on his cheek.
"I'll see you soon."
With that, he grabbed his blue umbrella from the ground before running away in the rain, leaving the pink haired boy still standing where they were, flushed, confused and shy.
