"If partners aren't allowed, how did Beomgyu come in here?"

Soobin's eyes widened, how did he know that?

"H-how did you know he came in before.."

Yeonjun shrugged and pointed at a teddy bear that was sitting on Soobin's bed.

"I met him in class today. He told me he lost his favourite teddy bear, that bear fits the description."

Soobin looked at the teddy bear. He was planning on returning it to Beomgyu but he hadn't shown up to school for a while.

"Uhm.. I- well.. would you mind returning it to him?"

Yeonjun nodded and went over to Soobin's bed, grabbing the teddy bear before stuffing it into his bag roughly. Soobin noticed his aggressiveness and immediately ran over, grabbing his hands to stop him.

"Hey.. stop! This is Beomgyu's favourite plush, you should be gentle with it.."

Yeonjun blinked a couple times, why was he so worried about a plushie?

"Y-yea.. I guess."

He took the teddy bear out of his bag and placed it on his bed.

"I'll just give it to him tomorrow."
"Can I ask for another favour?"
"Yea?"
"Tell him I'm sorry."

Beomgyu rubbed his eyes as he walked in class, clearly tired. Although he still looked droopy, everyone couldn't take their eyes off him. He looked ethereal.

Yeonjun looked up from his book, curious what all the commotion was about. Big mistake. The moment he saw Beomgyu, his heart almost stopped. This was the same Beomgyu he met yesterday? His lips weren't chapped anymore, they looked soft, with a slight tint of pink.

Beomgyu managed to walk to his seat despite everyone surrounding him. God.. he looked so cute close up.

"H-hi, Beomgyu."

Beomgyu turned to Yeonjun, raising an eyebrow.

"What's up?"

Yeonjun stared at him for a couple seconds before reaching to his backpack. Beomgyu watched as he slowly took out something soft, it looked familiar.. almost too familiar.

"My teddy!"

Yeonjun chuckled as he handed it to him. He looked so cute holding the small teddy bear.

"Soobin asked me to return it to you."

Beomgyu stopped playing with the plush as soon as he heard that. Soobin? Why does Soobin have it?

"W-why does he have it?"
"You left it in his dorm."
"O-oh.. ok. T-thank him for me.."
"He also wanted to tell you that he was sorry."

Beomgyu's eyes widened, it wasn't something Soobin would say since he isn't great with emotions.

"T-tell him it's okay."

Yeonjun nodded before turning his attention back to the book, still flustered by how shy and cute Beomgyu is.

"Good morning, Mrs Rachel!"

Mrs Rachel nodded as a sign to sit down and pulled out her textbook.

"Class, please open the book to page.. 109."

Yeonjun dug through his backpack, no book. Second check? still no. Third time's the charm right? Nope.

He slowly raised his hand and stood up after the teacher nodded.

"I.. forgot my textbook."

Mrs Rachel quickly fixed her glasses before giving him a strict look.

"That's fine for today. Share with Beomgyu."

Yeonjun bowed and sat back down, turning his gaze to Beomgyu. Beomgyu pushed his book towards Yeonjun and smiled.

"It's okay. I forgot my book when I first started too."

Yeonjun felt better at the reassurance, but he couldn't deny that he still felt a bit embarrassed.

"Thanks.."

"Beomgyu hyung!"

Beomgyu turned around and smiled, it was Hueningkai.

"Hey, Hueningie."

Hueningkai immediately wrapped his arms around him in a tight hug. He had missed Beomgyu so much, he was finally back to being himself.

"Why are you so happy today?"
"Just because.. hehe."
"What? Did Taehyun compliment you or something?"

Hueningkai blushed. He had a crush on Taehyun for a while, but he just push the thoughts away since Taehyun doesn't seem to reciprocate it.

"W-what? No!"
"Awww... Someone's shy."
"Hey! Just so you know he practically begged me to be his friend okay?"
"I think it's the other way around?.."
"W-what? That's crazy I would never!"

They both laughed as they walked to their next class, Math.

"God.. it's math class already?"
"I wish I was joking."
"Awww.. why is math even a thing?"
"On a good note, it's the last class right?"
"I guess.."

As they walked into class, they could swear that both of them almost had a heart attack.

There it was. Taehyun and Soobin, sitting together. They looked comfortable, too comfortable.. and it bothered them. Probably more than it should've.
