Yeonjun turned around to see a familiar face. Hueningkai. God.. why did he have to meet him again.

"S-sure."

Hueningkai chuckled as he placed his food in front of Yeonjun before sitting down.

"You're still embarrassed after what happened with the school map aren't you?"

Yeonjun nods as he tries to hide his face, still embarrassed by the situation. Why did he have to mention it..

"It's okay. First day always the hardest right?"
"Tell me about it."

As they continued to talk, Yeonjun started noticing that he had a lot of similarities with him. They were so lost in chatting that both of them hadn't noticed someone walking closer to Hueningkai, standing behind him for a few seconds before tapping his back gently. Hueningkai turned around, seeing the familiar face, a big smile appeared on his lips.

"Beomgyu hyung!"

Beomgyu placed his food next to Hueningkai before turning his gaze to Yeonjun.

"I'm not interrupting am I?"

Yeonjun immediately shook his head while Hueningkai's eyes widened in surprise, quickly pulling Beomgyu to sit down next to him.

"Of course not hyung! Ah Yeonjun hyung, this is my best friend! Beomgyu."

Oh.. so they're best friends.

"Hi, again. Beomgyu."

Ring! Ring!

Everyone immediately packed their bags, stuffing the books in as fast as they could. Classes were finally over, which means it's time to return to their dorms.

"So you're the new student huh?"

Yeonjun nodded before bowing to the teacher.

"Yes, I came here to retrieve my dorm key since I haven't been given one yet."
"Ah.. I see. Hold on for a minute."

The teacher dug through a whole pile of keys before finally holding one up.

"There ya go. Room 101."
"Thank you."

After thanking the teacher, he immediately started searching. Room 47.. still a long way to go. Room 209? Wait.. that's too far. Room 114? Almost there.. and there it was. Room 101.

He pushed the key into the lock and twisted it open.

Crak.

He held the door handle tightly before slowly pushing it down. Creakkkkk..

"Hello?"

He slowly peeked his little head in, noone was inside. After opening the door completely, he stepped in. No one was in the room.. could it be that he was assigned to an empty dorm?

Ring! Ring!

Taehyun looked over at his phone. It was Yeonjun.

"Hello?"

Taehyun's voice sounded sleepy, he was just in the middle of taking his beauty nap before his phone started ringing nonstop.

"Taehyun-ah.. no one's in my dorm."
"W-what? You got toes in your corn?"
"Nono! No one's in my dorm!"
"Oh.. yea. Everyone's hanging out right now. They'll probably return before five."
"Got it, thanks Taehyun."

Beep

Yeonjun put away his phone, pulling up is sleeves before starting to organise his desk.

A couple hours later

"Ah! Done!"

His desk was finally fully organised and decorated to his liking. His books were organised from horror stories all the way to cartoon comics, with a laptop resting neatly in the middle of his desk.

He patted himself on the shoulder, praising himself proudly.

"Good job Yeonjun, you did it again!"

While he was still busy showering himself with compliments, the door behind him suddenly creaked open. He immediately turned around to see the most handsome guy he had ever seen in his life.

Soobin strached his head slowly as he stood still at the door, unsure what to do next.

"S-should I.. head out again?"
"N-nono! It's ok! It's fine um.. I was.. just.. talking to.. my friend!"

Soobin stared at him confused. There was no one else in there. He chuckled softly as he stepped into the room, closing the door after.

"Who?"

Yeonjun turned around. Fuck.. no one else was there.. He quickly grabbed one of his plushies before waving it at Soobin.

"This!"

Soobin couldn't help but laugh at the situation he was in.

"Oh? What's his name?"
"Uh... His name is.. T-Tom!"
"Well it's nice to meet Tom. What's your name?"

Yeonjun chuckled at how Soobin was playing along with him. He slowly put down the plushie before speaking again.

"I'm Choi Yeonjun."
"Nice to meet you, Yeonjun. I'm Choi Soobin."

Soobin? Ohh.. so he was the third candidate. God.. he was really as ethereal as Taehyun described him to be.

"Anyways, Mrs Jess forgot to give you this."

Soobin pulled something out of his pockets and handed it to Yeonjun. It was a timetable.

"Overall, you just have to wake up at six and be back before eight."
"That sucks."
"Yea.. I know."
"Are there rules in the dorms?"
"Of course. Just a couple though. First, you can't wear shoes inside the dorm."
"No shoes. Got it."
"Second, no sweets in here. It'll attract bugs."
"No sweets? Awww.."
"Yea.. I know. It sucked for me as well. Wait till the final one."
"What is it?"
"No partners are allowed inside the dorms."

Yeonjun wanted to curse at the teacher who made those rules. No partner? How was he gonna sleep with his Cinderella like he envisioned? But throughout all the burning thoughts that was fogging up his mind, one question stood out.

"Can I ask you a question?"
"Yea?"
"If partners aren't allowed, how did Beomgyu come in here?"
