Grace decided, after school, she'd meet Damon at the grill. They would have a few drinks and she would go home to do her homework. She didn't like the idea of having homework, but if it has to be done, it'll be done. She would rather get drunk, go home, draw, and eat chocolate.
Once there, she walks up to Damon seeing him talking to someone.
"Damon." She says sitting next to the guy Damon was talking to
"Right. Hey Grace. One bourbon for my friend here." Damon says to the bartender.
"Hey Grace. Didn't know you drank." She hears mr. Saltzman say
"What are you doing here mr. Saltzman?" She asks
"Damon's my drinking buddy. Whenever I have a problem, or I need a drink, he's there." He says
"0h ok. What's your problem?" She asks curiously
"I think I have a crush on someone younger than me." He says
"Crush? What are we? 6th graders? Who is she mr. Saltzman?" Grace asks
"Please, call me Alaric. Everybody does." Alaric says ignoring the question.
"Alright Alaric. Anyways, Damon, I'll just have a few drinks, and go home. I have homework. Your welcome to come over and hang out." Grace says to Damon hinting that she wanted to go out hunting for blood.
"Right. I'll be over in a little bit. Ric, you don't mind me leaving you to go blood hunting?" Damon asks
"No. Why would you be going blood hunting with Grace?" Alaric asks
"Because she's a vampire? I thought you would've known that by now. Your the vampire hunter." Damon says sarcastically
"She is?" Alaric asks softly
"Yeah." Grace says showing off her teeth and veins to Alaric
"Oh." He says sadly
"Why?" She asks
"I didn't know." He says
What Grace didn't know, was that Alaric knew he liked her, but didn't want to say anything. He had hoped she was human. That way, they could grow old together and have a family. His plans were ruined when he found out she was a vampire.
"I have to go. Papers to grade." Alaric says
He gets up slamming his glass onto the bar counter breaking it and leaving.
"Someone's moody." Grace says
Her and Damon laugh. They have a few more glasses of bourbon before they leave. They go hunting and then Grace goes home. She finishes her homework quickly. She takes a shower, gets dressed in undergarments, and an oversized T-shirt. Finally, she lays down in bed and goes to sleep.
