Author's Note:

Assalamualaikum Readers!!!

Welcome to another book - something I had been planning to write for several months, and I'm finally doing it! I hope you'll read it till the end, even if it may not seem interesting at first, and share your valuable thoughts. I'm eager to know if you can relate to it, as my intention is for us to help each other grow in faith and become better Muslims.

This book is not a scholarly work, nor is it written by someone with deep religious authority. I'm just an ordinary Muslim girl- flawed, struggling, and striving-trying to find my way toward becoming a better version of myself.

I'm not someone who has it all figured out. I stumble, fall, and get back up-over and over again. And that's what this book is really about: the journey. The effort. The quiet battles we fight within ourselves. It's about the hope of returning, even after drifting far away.

This story is not based on any official rulings or fatwas. It's born purely from imagination, emotion, and those still moments when you find yourself reflecting on life, death, and everything that may come after. It's not here to teach or preach-it's just a mirror of what I sometimes feel, fear, or long for in my own heart.

Throughout the book, I've included verses from the Qur'an and Hadith, but only after careful research and with deep respect. These references are meant to add spiritual depth-not to claim religious authority, but to gently remind and inspire.

To my non-Muslim readers: I appreciate your open hearts. If this story doesn't speak to you, that's okay. I only ask for kindness and respect, the same way I strive to respect every journey, every belief. We're all walking different paths, but I believe kindness can always be our common ground.

At its core, this book is for anyone who's ever felt far from their Creator but still longs to come back. It's for those who are trying, even imperfectly-just like me. If it touches even one soul, makes someone pause, reflect, or begin again, then Alhamdulillah-it has fulfilled its purpose.

Dedication:

Dedicated to all those hearts
who, despite being drowned in sin, never lose hope in Allah's mercy.

This book is a reminder -
that as long as there is breath,
the door to repentance remains open.

This is the shortest book I've ever written - but also the one that came straight from the heart. I wrote it from a girl's point of view, imagining myself in that place... but you can imagine it however you want. The purpose is simple: to help us remind each other that death is near, and life is precious. I hope this book helps me, and you, to turn back to Allah - before it's too late.
