Eli rotated her wedding band on her finger and smiled. Life was good. From the top of the office building where she worked, she looked out onto the vast City of London. She was glad to be away from the busyness below. She was so lost in thought that she didn't feel arms wrap around her waist and pull her close. She leant back, knowing those arms as though they were her own. Turning, she smiled at her husband.

"Gabe, do you ever get a moment? I've been waiting an hour." She kissed him gently on the lips, wrapping her hand around the back of his neck.

"Had I known you were waiting, I would have made an excuse to leave." He pulled her tighter, trailing kisses down her neck.

A soft moan escaped Eli's lips, "Make it up to me."

Gabe looked down at Eli and smiled, "Do you remember when we used to fuck on my desk?" his eyes heavy with lust.

"How could I forget it. Look at us now, married," she giggled, as his hands roamed her body.

Eli could feel the heat rise in her as she remembered back when they were secretly dating. Gabriel Murphy was her boss and also the head of the pharmaceutical company she had been working for. When they first met, she disliked him. He was opinionated, quick to anger and rude. As were most CEO's, but he was also incredibly smart, handsome and challenged Eli to be the best scientist on his team. His thick Irish accent was the only rough part of him. With short, styled brown hair and green eyes, it had taken her a year into their relationship to see him in a pair of jeans.

At first, the causal fling had suited Eli. She was driven to soar in her career, and she didn't have time to be committed to anyone. His seduction of her came from nowhere. It wasn't until six months into her tenure that she met him. Eli had a breakthrough and was presented with an award at the company dinner. Had she not been receiving an award, she wouldn't have gone, but her colleagues forced her. It was then that she first laid eyes on Gabe. He was the monster that everyone talked about. Yet when he handed her the award and kissed her cheek, energy bounced between them. He had whispered in her ear, "Where have they been hiding you?"

After that night, it wasn't until a week later that she was called up to the top floor of the skyscraper to meet him. At the time, she thought he was just being nice, but when they started having sex, he admitted that he had planned it to get to know her better. He had sneakily obtained her number from HR under false pretences. Eli had been with her friend Beth on a night out when she read his text inviting her to a business dinner. He had said that it was with some of the executives, but when she arrived and was taken to a single table, she knew that it had all been a rouse.

What Eli didn't expect was that the monster she had heard so many bad things about had a wicked sense of humour and genuinely believed that she had talent. He had asked Eli to keep their dinner a secret. The first night they had sex, she had met him sitting at a bar drinking a scotch, his favourite drink. They had been flirting heavily on their previous dates, but as she arrived in a low-cut red dress, he cut the date short and took her straight back to his place. Though he was traditionally attractive, it wasn't that which made her leap into bed with him. There was something incredibly sexy about sleeping with your boss.  She hadn't told anyone about him, not even Beth. It was their little secret for months. She still thought it unbelievable that no one had caught on despite the regular summons to his office. He had taken her on his desk, on his chair, on the couch, on the floor, against the door. Each time more exciting than the next.

In the present day, as he backed her to the desk and lifted her skirt, she felt the same passion for him that she had those years ago.

"I don't think I'll ever get sick of making love to you," he breathed into her ear.
