Kabanata 79: Field Trip Day

The sun shone brightly as the Bradford Academy students piled onto the bus, ready for their annual field trip to the National Museum. The air buzzed with excitement and anticipation.

Kenji, his arm slung around Mark's shoulder, enjoyed the playful atmosphere. He loved these moments with Mark, where they could just be themselves, laughing, talking, and enjoying each other's company.

Levi, Zeus, and the rest of their friends were already settled in the back of the bus, their voices booming with laughter and chatter.

"Uy, mga kapatid!" Kenji called out, his voice echoing through the bus. "Lumabas kayo jan! Kami na ni Mark ang magkaka-backseat!"

The boys erupted in a chorus of laughter, their eyes sparkling with amusement. They knew that Kenji and Mark were inseparable, and they knew that their backseat antics were always legendary.

"Oo naman, Kapitan!" Levi shouted, his voice filled with playful sarcasm. "Sige, enjoy your little bubble. We'll be right here, watching over you."

Zeus, his face a picture of amusement, added, "Don’t worry, we'll make sure no one interrupts your romantic trip to the museum.”

Kenji rolled his eyes, his lips curling into a playful smile. "Ang dami mong alam, Zeus."

Mark, his face flushed with a mixture of embarrassment and affection, nudged Kenji playfully. “You’re so cheesy, Kenji.”

Kenji chuckled, pulling Mark closer to him. “I’m cheesy for you, babe.”

The boys moved to the front of the bus, leaving Kenji and Mark to enjoy the privacy of the backseat. The rest of the students, a mix of excitement and curiosity, watched the exchange with a mixture of amusement and envy. They knew that Kenji and Mark were something special, and they were eager to see what kind of mischief they would get up to.

Kenji, his heart overflowing with love and affection, turned to Mark, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “So, what do you say we make the most of our privacy?”

He leaned in and kissed Mark, his lips lingering on his for a moment, the bus swaying gently as it pulled away from the school.

The field trip was just beginning, and Kenji and Mark were ready to make the most of it.
