Ang Kapitan at ang Nerd: Ang Serye
Kabanata 70: Pag-iingat
The cheers of the crowd were still ringing in Kenji's ears as he looked down at Frost, his body crumpled on the ground, his face contorted in pain. Kenji was drained, his muscles aching, his breath ragged. He had won the fight, but he knew that the battle was far from over.
“Boys!” he shouted, his voice hoarse, his eyes scanning the crowd for his friends. “Get them!”
The cheers of the crowd died down, replaced by a hush of anticipation. Kenji's friends, who had been observing the fight from the sidelines, moved into action.
Levi, his eyes narrowed, his movements swift, rushed towards Frost’s group. He was the first to reach them, his fists already clenched.
“You’re all going down!” he roared, his voice echoing through the evacuation center.
Zeus and Cypher, their faces grim, were close behind, ready to fight. The rest of their friends, their loyal allies, followed suit, forming a protective circle around Kenji, ready to defend him, ready to face any challenge.
Frost’s cronies, caught off guard, began to scatter, their faces filled with fear. They knew that they were outnumbered, that they were outmatched.
Kenji watched as his friends moved through the crowd, their movements swift and decisive, their eyes focused on their targets. He knew that they would win, that they would protect him, that they would make sure that Frost and his gang wouldn’t hurt anyone else.
As the chaos unfolded, Kenji felt a surge of pride, a sense of relief. He knew that he had made the right decision, that he had chosen his friends wisely, that they were a team, a force to be reckoned with.
“Kenji, are you okay?” Levi asked, his eyes scanning Kenji for any signs of injury.
Kenji nodded, forcing a smile. “I’m good. Just a little sore.” He knew that he was pushing his limits, that he was risking his health, but he was determined to protect Mark, to protect his friends, to ensure that justice was served.
“We’ll get out of here soon,” Levi said, his voice filled with a mixture of concern and confidence. “We’ll take care of everything.”
Kenji knew that Levi was right. They would get out of here. They would finish what they started. They would expose Frost and his gang, make them pay for their actions, and make sure that they never hurt anyone else.
As they moved out of the evacuation center, Kenji looked back at the crowd. The people he had protected, the people he had defended, they were looking at him with a mix of admiration and gratitude.
But the fight wasn’t over. Not yet. He had a promise to keep. A promise to protect Mark. A promise to ensure that he could return to the hospital room, safe and sound.
He knew that he had to be careful. That the danger wasn’t over. But he was ready to face whatever came his way, for Mark, for his friends, for justice.
To be continue~
