Mark’s cheeks flushed, his heart pounding. "Shhh," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "Wag mo sabihin ‘yan kapag andito. Ayoko malaman nila Mama, Papa, ‘yan, pati mga kuya ko eh.”

Kenji nodded, his mischievous grin widening. “Okay, okay, your secret is safe with me.” He leaned in, his voice a conspiratorial whisper. “But I can’t promise that my friends will keep their mouths shut.”

Mark shook his head, a wave of laughter escaping his lips. He knew that Kenji's friends were a handful, always ready with a joke, a tease, a playful prank.
