The laughter and chatter in the cafe died down as Kenji addressed the group, a sense of purpose replacing his playful demeanor. "After natin mag-celebrate, need natin pumunta sa Auditorium kasi doon gaganapin yung Mr. & Ms. Sportsfest," he said, his voice a mix of excitement and determination.

"Emily and Mark, ready na kayo ah, kasi need natin iuwi yung trophy. Kalaban pa naman natin mga iba’t ibang campuses."

Mark’s eyes widened slightly. He'd almost forgotten about the Mr. & Ms. Sportsfest. He glanced at Emily, who was seated beside him. Emily was already a vision of confidence, her eyes sparkling with a touch of playful competition.

Emily winked at Mark, "Don't worry, Mark. We got this." She gave Mark a reassuring smile.

Mark’s heart pounded. He wasn't exactly thrilled about the pageant-style competition, but he was determined to support Emily. Plus, he couldn't help but feel a surge of pride, knowing that he was part of a team, a team that included Kenji, his heart throbbing with a new kind of affection.

“Good luck, babe," Kenji said, his gaze meeting Mark's. He gave Mark a quick squeeze on the hand, a gesture of support, a silent promise of a shared victory.

Mark returned the squeeze, a sense of warmth spreading through him. “We’ll do our best,” he said, his voice filled with a newfound sense of determination.

As the group finished their coffee and pastries, the excitement in the air grew. They knew that the Mr. & Ms. Sportsfest would be a challenging competition, but they were ready to face it head-on.
