'And Jimin's?'
'They're fairly new-ish, started talking pre-debut as well but Jimin cut it off with her to focus on his career but they're up and running once again.'
'And you? You still haven't met anyone?' I asked.
Jin sighed, 'I guess I have, but I've just realised that it's nothing. She likes someone else.'
'Well she's stupid,' I sighed and leaned back into the seat, 'that girl is crazy not to like you. But don't worry, you have millions of girls that are crazy for you.' I chuckled and pinched his arm, he smiled and kept his eyes on the road.
Moments passed and the silence overcame us. I watched the lights pass by and noticed him taking small glances at me, pretending I didn't notice I pulled my dress down a little, covering the skin of my thighs.
'You look nice, by the way.' Jin said as his eyes were now locked onto the road.
I smiled and looked over in his direction, 'You don't look too bad yourself.' I pinched his arm, he looked down at my dress before connecting his eyes with mine.
'Are you okay? You seem...distant, and distracted.' I said, softening my voice.
I watched as Jin clenched his jaw and tightened his grip on the steering wheel.
'I can't talk about it, especially not now.'
'Jin,' I began and rubbed his thigh, 'you can tell me, we're best friends you can literally tell me anything regardless of time and place.' He shuffled beneath my touch so I pulled my hand back to my lap.
'This really isn't the time or place.' I noticed his voice hardened and his eyes remained glued to the road.
Something was really bothering him, and I wondered if that something was me.
- Taehyung's POV -
We had been waiting at the restaurant for half an hour.
'Are you ready to order now?' A waiter said with a grin.
I shook my head, 'Not yet, sorry.'
'We're still waiting for two more people.' Hoseok said as he smiled and did a peace sign.
'Alright, excuse me.' The waiter bowed and scuttled off to serve another table, my eyes travelled from Hoseok, to Yoongi, then to Jungkook and onto Namjoon, his girlfriend, then onto Jimin who also brought a girl along.
'Where was I?' Namjoon started talking again, 'oh that's right, I was talking about some extra terrestrial island...' My ears refused to listen, I felt compressed by the surroundings and drowned them out completely.
I sighed and sunk deeper into the booth seat, we had requested a secluded table further away from the rest of the other tables so we wouldn't get noticed by anyone.
I pulled out my phone and drowned out the sound of everyone talking around me, I watched as the numbers changed before I heard the door open over the noise of the restaurant.
Jin walked in first, I stood up and my eyes eagerly searched for her.
Jin held her hand and stared me dead in the eye, I exhaled deeply and stepped out of the booth and there she was. With all her beauty radiating around the room.
I felt my heart beating faster, I watched as her eyes slowly rose to meet mine. Her sad and broken eyes, broken because of me. I could see that she wanted to cry, I watched her neck as she swallowed away the sadness.
'Hello, everyone.' Jin huffed.
The table cheered at their arrival but my eyes were locked onto her and only her, I awaited the sound of her voice.
