"Sure, come on," I gestured, turning to resume my path towards the dining hall. Piett smiled, quickly heading to catch up and walk next to me.

We walked into the dining hall, getting in line for lunch. This time, there was some loud chatter and many troopers in the room, sitting together and dining. It was refreshing, to hear laughing and casual chatter after not hearing much in some time.

I got my tray, getting a salad and some fruit. Piett got this sort of pasta meal, joining me at the same table I had sat at this morning. We sat across from each other, silent. It was awkward, a little bit of tension between us as neither of us spoke.

Before long, the sound of loud boots hitting the ground could be heard. The doors swung open, revealing the same man from last night. He had on the same cloak, concealing his face. Piett tensed up across from me at the sight of the man.

"Who is that?" I whisper, keeping my gaze primarily on the man. Piett scoffs lightly at my question. "Who do you think it is?" He asks sarcastically, maintaining a whisper voice.

The man walks further into the dining room, his head turning as he scanned the room. I looked back at Piett, a scowl on my lips.

"I don't know, why do you think I am asking?" I whisper harshly. Once Piett realized I wasn't joking, his expression became rather grave. "That's.. Darth Vader." He whispers.

The man then pushes his hood off of his face, revealing the same sculpted  features I had seen last night. His eyes scouted the room, before landing on us. He looked at me, before looking away.

This was Darth Vader?!

I had heard a few things about him before coming here, and none of them were good. Most of them were just gossip, as no one had truly seen Darth Vader in my city before.

"He's a mysterious monster that hunts people, drinking their blood."

"I heard that he eats people, bones and all."

"Yeah, well I heard that he is deformed and punishes people that look normal."

Clearly, the people back on Alderaan had no clue what they were talking about. I looked at him, watching him closely as his hand lingers on the lightsaber on his hip. I was right, he is a Jedi.

Only Jedi carry those kind of weapons, unless he stole it somehow. I thought that all of them were dead. Yet, here he was, holding the weapon of the Jedi.

"Troopers, you are all needed in hangar bay G! Now go!" He yells firmly, his voice booming in the dining hall. A few of the troopers hesitate, but most of them get up and begin leaving the dining hall without much fight. I glance at Piett to see if he has to go, but he just shakes his head a little, before quietly continuing to eat his food.

A troop at the table next to us takes one last bite of his food, before standing. He reaches for his helmet, going to put the armor on as he groans in complaint.

"We always have to be called in the middle of lunch. The man can't handle shit by himself," he mutters quietly.

In an instant, his hands drop the helmet, the white protection banging against the floor and rolling towards my direction. His hands shoot to his neck as he emits choking sounds.

Darth Vader is in front of him suddenly, glaring at him with his piercing gaze.

"What was that, TK-293?" Vader asks darkly. The trooper begins to levitate slightly as Vader keeps his hand outstretched. He was using the Force on him, like he had done to me yesterday. Although, he didn't choke me, he had done the same sort of motion with his hands.
