Mackenzie's POV
I hear Maya arguing with Dr.Hemmings.
Typical.
I sigh and walk in.
She's laying against her head board propped up by pillows, Ricky to her left holding her hand with a worried expression.
Jc sitting by her left leg.
Dr.Hemmings on her right with Luke, and Molly glaring at Maya.
"Maya. It would go faster if you answered the damn questions." I say.
She looks at me, "But I'm fine! Nothing hurts. The flashbacks stopped. I can sit up." She sits up to demonstrate.
"And, I can stand." She pulls the blankets back and stands up.
She sways and Luke catches her.
Ricky helps Luke lay her back down.
"She's dehydrated. And the flashbacks drain her. Here are the new meds. And more sedatives." He hands Jc a medium sized black bag. "The meds should be taken after eating, every four hours, because then she'll remember. I'll hook her up on an iv. You know how to take it out. Throw it in the biohazard bag. Luke will be by soon to pick it up. Have a nice day Mr. Caylen."
And they left. Luke gave Jc a hug and wished him well.
And winked at me on the way out.
I smile back.
"Connor sent out to get Starbucks and some food for everyone. What do y'all want?"
I get their orders and send it to him.
Everyone else is downstairs.
Trevor, Kian, Madelynn, and Sam are playing Mario kart. Melanie is sleeping next to Sam. He has an arm around her while he plays one handed. That's kinda cute.
I go to sit on the floor when the door bell rings.
"I got it!" I yell and run towards the door.
I open it to reveal a tall, pretty girl. She's wearing a One Direction crop top, red converse, ripped jeans, and an OBEY snapback. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
"Hi. Um, my boyfriend texted me and said this was his house? He said, that I could, um. Come over. Sorry. Might be the wrong house."
"Wait! What's his name?"
"Kian Lawley." She giggles.
"Yeah, come in. My name is Mackenzie. I'm one of Jc's sisters."
"I'm Hannah Irwin."
"Any relation to Ashton?"
"My brother. I love his band and I'm glad they get to tour."
"Sweet. I'm friends with Luke."
We walk in and they're arguing over who cheated.
"Guys! Shut up! You're going to wake Melanie up."
"Who's Melanie?"
"My Lil girl"
She looks at me.
"My little sister."
She says, "ohh."
"Kian, you have a guest."
He looks up. And his eyes light up.
"Baby! You made it! I see you met Jc's sister."
Ouch. That hurt. I thought he was my type. But I guess not...
