Ricky's POV
I watch her eyes close.
"Anytime." I whisper.
I watch her sleep for a minute.
"Dammit." Jc mutters.
"What?"
"Panic attacks. They're getting worse. Madelynn?"
"Already on it." She is scrolling through her phone. She taps something and puts it on her ear. "Yes. Dr. Hemmings for Maya Callen. Yep. Tommorow. Morning would be fantastic. I'll text you the address. Thanks Shar."
"He'll be here in the morning?" Jc looks hopeful.
"10 at the latest. 8 at the earliest."
"Thank god." He puts his head in his hands.
"Wait, this is normal?" Sam asks.
"Uh, sadly." Melanie, I think says.
"Is something burning?" Kian asks.
The twins run for the kitchen.
I get up slowly.
"Wait, Ricky. Where are you going?"
"I'm putting her on her bed." I walk slowly, trying not to move her too much.
"I'll show you." Molly runs in front of me.
She opens her door for me.
She puts down the covers for me to lay her down. Then tucks her in.
"Night big sis." To my surprise, she lays next to her.
"You might want to change, first." She's wearing high waisted jeans and a crop top.
"Stay here until I get back."
She runs to her room and she gasps.
After a minute she comes back in a Eeyore onezie but no feet.
"Seriously, Maya? You didn't need to do all that."
"What'd she do?" I wonder.
"She unpacked all of my, and our sisters' stuff while we slept." She lays next to Maya again.
"I'll send one of the girls up here so you can eat in a while."
"Thanks." She starts playing with
Maya pretty hair.
Stop. Jc's sister. She is off limits.
I close the door behind me.
She is beautiful, though. I allow myself to admit.

I know that's short. I will never make chapters this short. I will try to make today a double update. But if I don't, tommorow their will either be a long chapter, or a double update.
