• Chapter 12 •

Start from the beginning

"Oh gosh, it's just you!" I said relieved it was someone I knew and not an axe murderer.

"Yup just me," I walked over to the black truck that he was driving. I could barely see him cause it was dark but I knew it was him by his voice.

"What are you doing here Sean?" I asked him, leaning against the door.

"I should be asking you the same thing," he said with a playful smile.

"Touché, I just really don't wanna go home..." I said truthfully.

"Come on get in," he said and I looked at him shocked. "Not getting any younger Hope, get in"

I went around the front and got into the passenger seat. He drove off, I had no clue where we were going but ya.

"Um Sean where are we going?" I asked curiously.

"Somewhere," he told me and I rolled my eyes, "Somewhere where I like to get away from everything."

"Okay...?"

We drove in a comfortable silence for a while until finally he stopped the truck, he got out and motioned me to follow.

If this guy didn't save me earlier today I swear this would be the place where he would kill me.

It was a forest and if I think correctly this is the place where the phyco guy kills the innocent girl.

"Come on I'm not gonna kill you," Sean said reassuringly. I walked over to him and before I realized what he was doing he grabbed my hand and started walking into the freaky forest.

My awesome alliteration is amazing. As we walked farther into the freaky forest I grew more and more freaked out.

I had no clue where I was going but I trusted that Sean did.

"We're here," he announced and let go of my hand. I looked around and all I saw were trees. I looked at Sean  confused but he pointed upwards.

I looked up and saw a, "Treehouse! I love tree houses! I actually used to have one but it got ruined in a storm."

"Well let's go up," he said walking around to the other side of the tree where there was a ladder. I followed him and entered into this amazing creation.

Inside there was pillow and blankets, a cooler, and potable mini TV.

"This is...so cool!" I exclaimed.

"Ya I used to come out here a lot during the summer days. And then I figured that I could make it more fun so I brought in all this stuff," Sean explained to me.

"Well I'm super jealous," I told him, sitting down on the comfortable blankets.

"You didn't wanna go home, and I didn't either so I figured we could camp out here."

I looked at him and debated if I should take up his offer. I did just meet him today, but I don't have anywhere else to go. I don't want to camp out at Ashlee's again, that'd be rude.

"Thanks I think I will camp out with ya," I told him and he smiled.

He grabbed a juice box out of the cooler and handed it to me, I thank him and laughed.

"What's so funny?" He asked me grabbing another juice box for himself and sitting down beside me.

"Well most guys would have beer in there and you just have juice boxes," I laughed again.

"How do you know I don't?" I stopped laughing and looked at him.

"Do you?"

"No," he said and laughed. Soon I joined in, but quickly stopped.

"Ow," I hissed.

"Right your ribs, I'm sorry I forgot." He apologized but I waved it off, it wasn't his fault.

"Do you wanna watch a movie?" He asked me and I nodded my head. I was super tired but a movie would be good.

Sean stood up and walked over to the pile of movies in the corner. He picked three for me to choose from.

"Amazing Spider-Man, Hairspray, or 21 Jump Street?"

"Jump Street," I told him and he put it in. After we got comfortable, not too close to each other cause that would be weird, and not too far away, I was ready to watch this movie.

After watching for twenty minutes I felt my eyelids grow heavier and heavier, and soon enough I was falling asleep.

This is one of the best ways to spend a Friday night. In a treehouse watching a movie, with juice boxes and a guy who makes you feel safe.
