Finally getting out of gym I realized my make up was slightly running. So I quickly went to the mirror in the change room and redid it. It wasn't hard, I didn't do anything special with it today, not like Faith.
Faith went all out today! Her hair was curled, her make up was done very well, even her nails were painted!
This was a surprise coming from Faith to be honest, and I wanted to know what the special occasion was. Maybe she had a presentation to do today? Wait no she can't, it's like the first week of school, ya that wouldn't be happening.
Maybe it was a boy? I thought to myself. And then it hit me, Kyle. She was trying to look good for that douche. I still don't see what she sees in him, but I told her I would pretend to be supportive of her and her feelings. Trust me, I plan to do that, but if that fuckboy ever hurts my sister I was gonna kick his ass!
I walk to my locker after finishing my make up, and I saw that Evan was already there waiting for me.
"Hey!" I called to him and he whips his head up from looking at this phone.
"Hey Hope, how was gym class?" He asked me, his smile wide as ever.
"Meh it was okay, kinda boring. We are still doing these team building, grade 2 games. I'm just waiting for baseball, soccer, etc." Sports were my thing, not the academics, the sports and the social parts.
"Ya me too. I played baseball all summer trying to get better and better," he tells me as we walk into the cafeteria. We sit down at our usual spot, Ashlee already there.
"Hey Ash, thanks again for letting me stay at your house last night," I say, sitting down and giving her a smile.
After walking aimlessly for two hours, I finally called someone. To be completely honest I was surprised Ashlee said I could crash at her house. She didn't know the whole reason why, she just knew that I had no where else to go for the night and she knew that I didn't want to go home.
"Ya no problem, it was fun to have you over even though if it was only for a while," she says with a smile. Something I knew about Ashlee is that she put everything into what she has. Whether it was school work, relationships or friendships, etc. she put her all into it. And for that I was really happy to call her my friend.
"What happened last night Hope?" Evan asks curiously.
"Nothing, I don't really want to talk about it," I say quietly. I suddenly lost my appetite so I push my food away, not touching it again.
After fifteen minutes of talking about our morning classes, Faith finally came to join us.
"Wipe that stupid smile off your face," I said jokingly.
"This smile isn't stupid this is a happy smile!" She says defensively, sitting down beside Ashlee, across from me.
"What's the goofy smile for then?" I ask and she just starts blushing.
"So you did attract a boy!!!" I scream a little too loud and a couple people from other tables looked at me weirdly. Oops.
"Would you shush!" She says and I nod my head. "And stop bobbing your head your not a bobble head," she laughs and so does Ashlee.
"Okay just tell me what happened!"
"Well, after gym I went back to my locker and this guy was waiting there. I asked if he was waiting for someone, and he said for me! Can you believe it? He was waiting for me! Ya so then he asked for my number, and of course I gave it to him, and for the past ten minutes I've been in the bathroom fangirling or something. You know that feeling you get when you fangirl? Ya that's what's happening with me right now and I'm so happy!!!" She says really fast, it was hard to catch all of it. And I didn't quite catch it all, because she never mentioned a name?
