After our dinner date, we went back to my condo. The moment we stepped inside, Mikha stretched her arms above her head, letting out a small yawn. "Nakakapagod din pala kahit puro kain lang ginawa natin," she mumbled, kicking off her shoes.
I smirked, closing the door behind us. "Hindi ka lang sanay na may nagpapakain sayo nang ganito kaspoiled."
She rolled her eyes but didn't deny it. "Maliligo lang ako saglit," she said, already making her way to the bathroom.
I watched her go, and without thinking, I called out, "Sabay na tayo?"
Mikha stopped mid-step, looking over her shoulder with an arched brow. "Excuse me?"
I grinned, walking towards her slowly. "Sayang tubig."
She scoffed, crossing her arms. "Ganyan na ba ka-grabe ang pagtitipid mo, Miss Navarro?"
I leaned against the wall beside her, arms folded. "Hindi naman. Pero mas masaya kung may kasama, 'di ba?"
She eyed me suspiciously, but I caught the small, amused smile tugging at her lips. "Aiah, alam mo namang-"
Before she could finish, I grabbed her wrist and gently pulled her towards the bathroom. "Tara na, tipid mode tayo."
Her eyes widened in mock shock. "Hoy, Aiah! Ano ba!"
I chuckled but didn't let go. "Wala ka namang dalang damit sa loob, edi sabay na tayo para isang pasok na lang."
Mikha groaned, pretending to resist, but I saw the way she bit her lip to hide a smile. "Ikaw talaga, loko ka."
I pulled her all the way inside before closing the door behind us, my smirk never fading. "Tara na nga, Miss Dela Cruz. Baka magsisi ka pa."
And with that, her laughter echoed through the small space, mixing with the soft patter of running water.
The bathroom quickly filled with steam as the warm water cascaded down, creating a hazy atmosphere. Mikha stood by the sink, arms crossed, still eyeing me with playful suspicion. "Aiah, aminin mo nga-may hidden agenda ka, 'no?"
I feigned innocence, grabbing a towel and tossing it over my shoulder. "Wala naman," I said smoothly, stepping closer. "Ikaw lang naman 'tong parang kinakabahan."
She scoffed, but the slight blush dusting her cheeks betrayed her composure. "Hindi ako kinakabahan, no!" she huffed, though she still made no move to leave.
I smirked, reaching past her to turn on the shower. "Sige na nga, mauna ka na," I said, pretending to give in.
Mikha blinked, as if surprised by my sudden surrender. "H-huh?"
I shrugged. "Sabi mo eh. Baka isipin mo may hidden agenda talaga ako." I stepped back, arms raised in mock defeat.
She narrowed her eyes. "Aiah Navarro, pag niloko mo ako-"
"Anong gagawin mo?" I challenged, stepping forward again, just close enough that our noses almost touched.
Mikha inhaled sharply but held her ground. "Ikaw bahala," she muttered before finally grabbing the hem of her shirt and pulling it over her head.
I swallowed hard. Oh.
My teasing smirk faltered for just a second, and Mikha caught it. Her lips curled into a victorious grin. "Ayan, happy?" she quipped, stepping into the shower stall, the water hitting her skin immediately.
I stood frozen for a moment before regaining my composure. "Very," I murmured, following her in without hesitation.
She gasped as I pulled her close, my hands resting lightly on her waist. "Aiah-"
