Aiah's POV

Days passed by, and for the first time in a long time, everything felt right.

Mikha and I were finally together-no more hesitations, no more unspoken words. And honestly? I had never been this happy.

Of course, it didn't take long for everyone to notice.

At work, our friends made sure to remind us every single day that we were no longer just boss and secretary-we were Aiah and Mikha, the official couple.

"Ayan na ang lovebirds!" Sheena announced dramatically one morning as Mikha and I arrived at the office together.

"Grabe, dati palihim pa kayo. Ngayon, kayo na 'yung PDA couple dito," Gwen teased, nudging Stacey.

"Excuse me, Gwen," Jho chimed in, smirking. "Hindi naman sila PDA, masyado lang silang obvious."

Mikha, as always, rolled her eyes but couldn't hide her small smile. I just shook my head, used to their antics. "Ang aga-aga, ang iingay niyo."

"Sabi mo eh, boss," Stacey teased, winking at Mikha. "Pero aminin mo, kinikilig ka rin!"

I looked at Mikha, who was now biting her lip, trying to suppress a smile. I smirked.

"Oo nga," I said, making her glance at me. "Kinikilig ka nga."

She scoffed but finally smiled. "Tigil-tigilan niyo nga ako."

Our friends just laughed, shaking their heads as we entered my office.

Outside of work, things were just as amazing.

We spent more time together-whether it was lazy nights at my apartment, random food trips, or just quiet moments where we simply enjoyed each other's presence.

One weekend, we had a movie night at my place. The lights were dimmed, the aircon was on full blast, and Mikha was curled up next to me on the couch.

Halfway through the movie, she shifted, resting her head against my shoulder.

"Aiah," she mumbled sleepily.

"Hmm?"

She lifted her head slightly, looking at me with half-lidded eyes. "Masaya ka ba?"

I turned to her fully, cupping her cheek. "Mikha, sobra."

She smiled softly. "Ako rin."

I kissed her forehead, letting my lips linger for a moment. "Mikha, this time... sigurado na tayo, 'di ba?"

She looked at me, eyes full of warmth. "Aiah, ikaw lang ang sigurado ako."

And in that moment, I knew-I had everything I ever needed.

The next day, I picked Mikha up for our date.

She didn't know I had a surprise for her.

Mikha had always loved simple things. While I enjoyed extravagant gestures, she was the type to appreciate quiet moments in places that meant something to her. That's why, when I asked her where she wanted to go, she didn't hesitate.

"Sa favorite place ko, syempre," she had said with a playful smile.

And I knew exactly where that was.

---

We arrived at a small garden café tucked away in the heart of the city-a hidden gem she had always adored. It was peaceful, surrounded by blooming flowers and fairy lights hanging from the trees. It had a cozy, intimate vibe that made it feel like we were in our own little world.
