"Sige na nga. Maglasing na lang tayo."
I laughed, grabbing the rest of the drinks before following her back to the group.
Tonight, we weren't exes trying to mend the past. We were just Aiah and Mikha-laughing, drinking, and existing in the same space again. And for now, that was enough.
"Mikha! Mikha! Mikha!"
Jho and Stacey's chanting echoed in my apartment as they nudged Mikha toward the center of the room. Sheena, Gwen, and even Stacey were already hyped, clapping and whistling like we were at some underground club.
Mikha groaned, burying her face in her hands. "Tangina, Jho. Staku. Hindi na ako ganun!"
Stacey wiggled her eyebrows. "Eh di 'wag! Pero diba, dati, pag may inuman, may special performance si Mikha para kay Aiah?"
Jho smirked, sipping her beer. "Oo nga. Pati nga 'yung mga random na barista sa café dati, nakakita ng sample!"
The girls laughed, and I couldn't help but smirk as I leaned back on the couch, watching Mikha squirm under their teasing.
"Wala na 'yun! Nakalimutan ko na paano!" Mikha insisted, but her flushed cheeks said otherwise.
"Hindi naman mahirap tandaan 'yan, Mikha," I said, my voice teasing. "Unless gusto mong turuan ulit kita?"
She shot me a sharp glare. "Aiah!"
The girls erupted into laughter. Gwen nudged Sheena. "Tingnan mo 'yan. Nahuli na natin si Mikha. Nagpapakipot pero gustong-gusto rin!"
Sheena grinned. "Dali na, Mikha! One night lang! Parang dati! Special performance for Aiah!"
Mikha sighed dramatically before downing the rest of her drink in one go. She wiped her lips, then looked at me with an unreadable expression.
"Fine," she muttered, shaking her head. "Pero pag ginawa ko 'to, walang kokontra, walang video, at walang pang-aasar bukas!"
The girls cheered like they won the lottery.
I raised an eyebrow, amused. "Wow. Ang dami mong kondisyon. Hindi ka naman pinipilit, Mikha."
She rolled her eyes at me before turning to Jho. "Patugtog mo na lang bago pa ako magbago ng isip."
The girls screamed in excitement as Jho scrambled to connect her phone to the speakers. The music started-slow, sultry, and familiar.
And just like that, it was as if no time had passed at all.
Mikha moved, her body effortlessly finding the rhythm. And damn... she still had it.
The moment Mikha started moving, I swear the air in the room shifted.
She swayed her hips, slow and teasing, her hands running down her body in a way that made my throat go dry. The dim lights, the music pulsing through the speakers, the way her eyes locked onto mine-it was lethal.
"Tangina." I bit my lip, gripping the bottle in my hand a little too tightly. "Mikha..."
She was so fucking hot.
The way her body rolled, the way she tilted her head back slightly, exposing the smooth line of her neck-it was impossible to look away. My mind went blank, all logical thoughts drowned out by the heat building inside me.
And then she smirked.
That cocky little smirk she always had when she knew she had me wrapped around her finger.
I clenched my jaw. "Putangina, Mikha."
Stacey and the girls were already screaming in the background, cheering and hyping her up, but all I could hear was the rapid beating of my heart.
