Mikha let out a dry laugh, shaking her head. "Oh, you won't."

I sighed, rubbing my temples. "Alright, enough of this." I turned to Zara. "You should go."

She raised a brow. "That's an order, CEO?"

"Yes."

She stared at me for a moment before grinning. "Fine." Then, without warning, she leaned in, her lips grazing my ear. "But don't think this is the last time you'll see me."

With one last glance at the group, she winked, sauntered to her car, and drove off into the night.

As soon as she was gone, Sheena burst out laughing.

"Oh my god, Aiah-what the fuck was that?"

I exhaled, already regretting everything. "I don't want to talk about it."

Gwen grinned. "Come on. Soon-to-be girlfriend? You have to admit-that was bold."

Sheena nudged Mikha playfully. "So? What do you think?"

Mikha finally turned to me, her expression unreadable.

Then, in a quiet, clipped voice, she muttered, "You're an idiot."

And with that, she walked away.

Morning came too soon.

I stepped into Navarro Enterprises, my usual mask of control perfectly in place. No distractions, no bullshit-just business.

Or at least, that was the plan.

The moment I reached my office, my gaze landed on the desk outside my door.

There she was.

Mikha.

My ex. My new secretary. The woman who, just last night, looked like she wanted to strangle me and set me on fire.

She was sitting at her desk, eyes glued to her laptop screen, fingers typing at an impressive speed. Her brows were slightly furrowed, lips pressed together-she looked focused. Serious. Not even sparing me a glance.

Good.

I walked past her without a word and entered my office, shutting the door behind me. I tossed my coat on the chair, sighing.

At least she was acting professional.

Maybe this arrangement wouldn't be as messy as I thought-

Knock, knock.

The door flew open before I could even respond.

"Good morning, Miss CEO!"

I didn't even need to look. I already knew who it was.

Stacey.

I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Stacey, I don't remember hiring you as my alarm clock."

She ignored me, plopping onto one of the chairs in front of my desk with a shit-eating grin. "So. Sheena told me everything."

I exhaled sharply. "I don't have time for this."

"Oh, you will make time." Stacey leaned forward, eyes twinkling. "Tell me, Aiah-how's your soon-to-be girlfriend?"

I glared.

She laughed. "Oh my god, I wish you saw your face right now."

"Get out."

She smirked. "You're no fun. Anyway, let's talk about the real issue here." She pointed toward the door. "You and Mikha. Office romance part two?"

I shot her a warning look. "Drop it, Stacey."
