Zara pulled away slightly, her expression more amused than annoyed.

I turned just as the car door swung open-then another, then another.

And then I saw them.

Sheena.

Gwen.

And Mikha.

Fucking perfect.

Sheena's eyes widened for a split second before a slow, mischievous grin spread across her lips. "Well, well, well," she drawled, stepping closer. "Looks like we just interrupted something very interesting."

I exhaled through my nose, already regretting everything about this night.

Gwen let out a low whistle, nudging Sheena. "Damn. First time I've seen our CEO getting kissed like that."

Zara smirked beside me, completely unfazed. "Maybe because I'm the first one bold enough to try."

Mikha, on the other hand, said nothing.

She just stood there.

Staring.

Her jaw tight, her hands clenched at her sides.

And that reaction? That told me everything.

Sheena, of course, didn't miss it either. She turned to Mikha, raising a brow. "What do you think, Mikha? CEO looks like she's having a good time, huh?"

Mikha's lips parted, but no words came out.

I smirked, deciding to push her buttons for once. "Jealous?"

Her jaw tightened. "In your dreams."

Zara chuckled beside me, watching the entire exchange like it was the most entertaining thing she'd seen all night. "I like this crowd," she murmured under her breath.

I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "This night just keeps getting better."

Gwen crossed her arms, eyeing Zara with curiosity. "Okay, seriously-who is this girl?"

Before I could even open my mouth, Zara beat me to it.

She flashed a smug smile and, without hesitation, said, "I'm Zara. Soon-to-be girlfriend of Aiah Navarro."

A heavy silence fell over the group.

Then-

Sheena let out a loud cough-which was definitely covering up a laugh. Gwen's eyes widened slightly before she turned to me, amusement flickering in her gaze. "Damn, CEO. That was fast. Didn't know you were in the market."

I clenched my jaw, inhaling slowly. "She's joking."

Zara hummed. "Am I?"

I shot her a sharp look, but she only smirked, completely unfazed.

Mikha, though-she wasn't amused.

Her expression was unreadable, but I could see the tension in her posture, the way her fingers curled into her palm like she was keeping herself in check.

Sheena, ever the instigator, turned to Mikha, her grin growing. "Ooh. Someone doesn't look happy."

"I don't care," Mikha said quickly-too quickly.

Zara, of course, noticed.

She turned to Mikha with an interested look, her lips quirking up in a smirk. "And you are...?"

Mikha's eyes narrowed slightly. "None of your business."

Zara chuckled. "Feisty." She glanced at me, as if reading something between the lines, before her smirk deepened. "I like her."
