I waved goodbye to Mom as she cheerfully left. Suddenly beside me a boy burst out crying, and I turned to see a brown haired kid wrap his arms around his mom.

"Don't go Mummy..." He cried into her legs, and the mum looked around panicked. You can tell who's a first timer, Mom had no problems with me after my brother.

I walked up to the new boy, and he stopped crying as I approached. I grinned, glad that at least he wasn't crying. I think he would look really cute smiling. "Hiya. I'm Mark."

The new boy blinked away tears. "Ma'wk?" I don't think he's from around here, but I like how he says my name. "Hi Ma'wk... I'm A... Aw... Awon."

"Aaron." His mother corrected him, and he tried again with the same results as before.

I gave it a try myself. "A... Awon? Awon..." I burst out giggling and he looked at me shocked. "How about I call you Yami instead."

"Yami...?" He smiled, slowly drawing away from his mom. "Yami... I like it..."

"I like it too." I said grinning, and then offered my hand for him to take. "How about I show you around Yami? You should meet my other friends."

He stood frozen for a little bit, but soon grabbed my hand and walked away from his mom. I smiled at him as he turned to face his mum. "Bye Mum..."

"Have fun Aaron." She replied and Yami giggled. His giggle was really cute, and I was right that he looked much better with a smile.

"Who's Awon? I'm Yami!"

She smiled as I lead him away, and I was excited to get to know the new boy. Out of the corner of my eye I saw his mom give a small wave, lingering before walking off. You can tell who the first timers are.
