"Molu! What is going on up there? I am coming up"
Oh no, I can't let mother see this.
Off balance, she ran to the door and leaned against it. Sahi put her whole weight on it as if she was blocking a giant. Her life was on the line.
"Nothing Amma, I just fell off the bed?"
There is definitely no boy in my room.
"Fell off the bed? YOU WERE NOT STUDYING?"
"I was. I was. But on the bed."
Definitely not sleeping with a boy
Amma asked her a series of questions. She had way more than CBSC question banks. But 'Is there a boy in your room?' was not one of them. A sigh of relief left her lungs and a growl from her stomach. All this drama had made her hungry. Was all this not enough board exams are up next week. She was sure the gods HATE her.
The boy sat there adorably. His slightly long jet-black hair and dark blue eyes shimmered like the camera.
He's kind of cute; wait, what am I thinking?
"Sahi. Are you all right?"
"Ya, I am... wait HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?!"
He stared at her questionably. Sahi had a brief blank page.
"Ok, I can't seem to recall you. You know what is funny, you seem to me like my tab's human version." she shrugged and laughed to herself.
"Correct"
She looked at him blankly, dump-folded.
*Sahi chicken is processing*
*Processing complete*
"WHAT!" She hushed herself before Mother came up again.
She scanned the room, every nook and corner, in search of her previous tab. Which was nowhere to be found. She looked at him. And wondered what kind of mess has she gotten herself into, that too a week before the finals.
Her stomach growled in agreement.
