The cold night air brushed against Y/N's skin as she stepped outside, her heels clicking against the pavement with a rhythmic finality. The weight of Francisco's betrayal still sat heavy in her chest, but she wouldn't let it consume her. She had made a mistake trusting him—now, she would correct it.

As she walked toward her car, she heard footsteps behind her.

"Running away, Y/N?" Taehyung's deep voice called out.

She stopped but didn't turn. "I don't run. I leave behind what no longer serves me."

A low chuckle escaped him. "Is that what you call it? Leaving?" He took slow steps until he was right beside her. "You seem angry."

She turned to face him, her eyes burning with defiance. "Angry? No, Taehyung. I am done. With all of this. With you, with Francisco, with this entire game."

He smirked, tilting his head. "Then why do you look like you're ready to burn everything to the ground?"

She let out a humorless laugh. "Maybe because I am."

For a moment, silence stretched between them, charged and heavy. The tension was palpable, an invisible force pulling them closer despite everything.

Taehyung's gaze flickered to her lips before meeting her eyes again. "You really think you can walk away from me?"

"I already have."

His hand shot out, gripping her wrist—not harshly, but firm enough to make her stop. "Then why are you still here?"

She yanked her hand free. "Because I have unfinished business. And soon, Taehyung, you'll regret underestimating me."

A slow, dangerous smile spread across his face. "I look forward to it."

Y/N turned on her heel, walking away without another word. She had made up her mind. She had fought against him, loved him, hated him, and lost so much in the process. But now?

Now, it was time for her to rise.
